Wal-Mart Approves Roadhouse Foods as a Vendor Monday July 25, 8:30 am ET
FREEPORT, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 25, 2005--Roadhouse Foods, Inc. (Pink Sheets:RHSE - News), announced today that Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. (NYSE:WMT - News) has approved Roadhouse Foods as a vendor, to supply its "Original Havana Roadhouse Cuban Sandwich" to retail chain stores and Sam's Club stores. The initial order will supply chain stores located throughout Florida and after 180 days will determine if the "Original Havana Roadhouse Cuban Sandwich" will be introduced nationwide to all 1,500 supercenters with a deli freezer section. The Company's CEO, Scott Bergman, commented, "We are obviously very excited that Wal-Mart has approved us as a vendor and are hopeful that this will pave the way for expansion into Wal-Mart's nationwide chain of supercenter stores. The acceptance rate of our Cuban sandwich product has surpassed even our expectations and this is just the beginning as we are nearing the completion on developing a number of other food items to compliment our signature Cuban sandwich product.
