GlobeTel’s Announces the Appointment of J. Randolph Dumas to the Position of Executive Vice Chairman.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.—November 30, 2005--GlobeTel Communications Corp (Amex: GTE) today announced the appointment of J. Randolph Dumas to the position of Executive Vice Chairman and Director. In this new position, Mr. Dumas will be expanding on his previous role as a joint venture partner in Sanswire Europe.

Mr. Dumas, a resident of London, England, has lived and worked in Europe for the past 25 years. He was a partner of Salomon Brothers International Limited responsible for the firm's European corporate finance, mortgage securities and real estate investment banking businesses for a number of years. Subsequently, Dumas founded and became the Managing Partner of two prominent private equity firms: Dumas West & Co (a 50:50 partnership with the “Baby Bell” telecommunications company, US West) and Rubikon Partners, a firm focusing on European leveraged buyouts founded by Mr. Dumas, Henry Kissinger, Thomas McLarty and Leo A. Daly III. Dumas has had extensive experience working in virtually every business sector and in every country within Europe, Asia and in much of the Middle East. He maintains strong relationships in these countries at the highest levels.

“Mr. Dumas’ demonstrated ability to develop, lead and manage all aspects of a global business, including establishing and maintaining an extensive, high-profile and worldwide relationship network will be a great asset to GlobeTel and represents a significant step towards new areas of growth for our company,” commented Timothy Huff, GlobeTel’s CEO. “We are confident that his expertise and decades of business experience will have a strong and early impact on the long-term success of GlobeTel Communications and its five business units.” Mr. Dumas’ appointment is effective immediately.

About GlobeTel Communications Corporation:

GlobeTel Communications Corp. is a diversified Telecommunications and Financial Services company. GlobeTel operates business units in stored value debit cards, as a certified financial transactions processor; the sale of carrier-grade VoIP of long distance to major long-distance re-sellers, VoIP technology, wireless radio technology and development, and high-altitude airship research and development. These self-contained business units were developed to operate independently of each other. The symbiotic relationship, however, provides value to each of the other business units. This strategy offers GlobeTel financial diversity and risk mitigation while striving toward its operating objectives.

Operating on a global basis, GlobeTel has historically focused its business development on markets outside of the United States. Current operations and business relationships exist in Asia, Europe, South America, Mexico and the Caribbean.

Don't make too much out of Am Bulls ratings for GTE. They also posted a SELL at $2.04 right before this big uptrend of the last few weeks.

From Am Bulls below: (note the %gain was actually even higher since we touched $3.66)

"Our system posted a WAIT today. The previous SELL recommendation that was confirmed was made on 10.26.2005 (37) days ago, when the stock price was 2.0400. Since then GTE has gained 55.39%."

What will be the effect of this news on share price --- thinks it puts a cap on any significant price increase -- in fact it may put downward presure on the share price.

Edster,
I think the little dip earlier was the only effects you will see from the filing. This was planned from the financing arrangement back in August. Nothing unusual or unforseen about today's filing IMO.

I agree. Am Bulls ignores the specifics of the company and uses only the candlestick method to decide a buy or sell recommendation. It does not factor in things like the history or the prospects of a company. It is a good guide but cannot take the place of knowledge of the company you are investing in. In other words, always do your DD.

Buy advertisment from "the big money" today and Am Bulls has switched to BUY-IF. Of course, use these sources only as a guide. Do your own DD.

GlobeTel Announces Letter of Intent with Marcatel S.A. de C.V.; Commercial Alliance Will Provide Wireless Communication to 20 Cities in Mexico

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.—December 5, 2005--GlobeTel Communications Corp (Amex: GTE) today announced that it has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to provide wireless telecommunication services in up to 20 cities throughout Mexico. The LOI was signed in conjunction with its wholly owned subsidiary, GTCC de Mexico S.A. de C.V., its Mexican partner, BTC S.A. de C.V., and Marcatel S.A. de C.V., a Telecom Mexican corporation located in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon.

Marcatel is one of the largest carriers in Mexico, providing service to over 80,000 business customers through its 20 customer care centers located throughout the country. The company offers voice services, carrier infrastructure, and IP and data solutions. Marcatel provides integrated communication services including local telephony, long distance, 800 numbers, and prepaid calling cards, calling cards with international coverage, as well as telephony administration and cost-control systems. Marcatel's IP broadband data services include Internet access using DSL, dedicated and wireless access, dial-up and private lines. The company also provides carrier services, such as dark fiber, private lines, and co-location and spectrum frequencies for microwave access, as well as Contact Center services that complement its offerings to provide the best integral solutions for their clients.

The parties have agreed to start testing the wireless system in the city of Monterrey, utilizing GlobeTel’s proprietary wireless technology and Marcatel’s strengths as a carrier in the Mexican market. Once the testing period is complete to the parties’ satisfaction, they intend to enter into definitive agreements. It is planned that the installation of the pilot will take place in Q1 2006.

“I am very excited about the advanced wireless technology that GlobeTel is bringing to our company. This new alliance will substantially strengthen our ability to offer the Mexican public a wide range of voice and data high quality services at a reasonable price,” stated Mr. Carlos Montemayor, General Director of Marcatel.

Mr. Ulrich Altvater, President of GlobeTel Wireless, a subsidiary of GlobeTel Communications Corporation, stated, “I am pleased to be able to demonstrate and roll out our new combined WLAN / DECT infrastructure in Mexico. This is the most advanced integrated wireless voice and data solution available today. The city of Monterrey is a perfect candidate to benefit from this advanced technology that can later be extended to the rest of the country.”

Mr. Timothy Huff, Chief Executive Officer of GlobeTel, commented that GlobeTel’s ability to partner with strong local companies in different countries provides Globetel with “a competitive edge” over other providers. “I am delighted to work with such a well respected company as Marcatel. I believe that joining forces with them will bring a world-class level of connectivity to Monterrey and to Mexico, and we look forward to a long and productive business relationship. We believe that our wireless technology is superior to any product in the marketplace and this, along with our other pilots, will demonstrate that. We expect significant opportunities in the wireless marketplace.”

Things are looking very good for GTE now. The Core Business has positioned itself globally. The military seems to be very interested in our technology. The recent contract with Lockheed is verification of this. GTE will get a piece of the pie also IMO. We may even see some kind of partnership with LM. Our Communications Strat should be surfacing in the news soon. In any case, our PPS is moving in the right direction and Institutions seem to be buying these cheap shares. It looks like we will be moving to new highs very soon. Keep the faith and hold on to those shares, IMO it is very risky to trade shares the way we have been moving. GLTYA!
