If you purchase with unsettled funds when do you own the stock? For the forward split...the funds had to be settled? Is this true?

unsettled funds is between you and your broker re time limit for exiting a position you entered with unsettled funds. If you bought UNQT by close of business yesterday, those shares came attached with the rights to the dividend.
