LowTrades has changed their comm. (down to 2.99) BUT is still keeping misc.fees for quantities above 100000 (so for pennies is not very cheap ...)

margin accounts allow you to apply for money on loan. Kind of like borrowing some cash to trade with. Most companies require you to have a minimum balance in your own account and each companies' rates differ.

i decided on ameritrade cause scottrade has .005 per share over 500 shares
per trade it was the lowest i could find when i looked that choice trade looks good but there isnt nearly enough information there id never put my money there
most investment websites have VERY detailed info on charges and even how they operate available to you before you ever make an account

EverGreen reports that, "LowTrades has changed their comm. (down to 2.99)".
I must either be doing something wrong or the change he speaks of has been since the 21st, because they charged me $5 to purchase 200 shares that day.

www.ameritrade.com is 10.99 per trade. The first month - the first 30 trades are free. It takes $1000.00 to start trading. Good Luck.
