This stock has around 33 MILLION shares. Revenue last year was about $1.3 BILLION. Earnings per share was $1.46. They are forcasting revenues for the current year at $1.5 BILLION with earnings per share of $1.55 to $1.65.
Plus I tend not to follow what is a buy and what is a sell. I try to look for stocks that appear to be undervalued and have growing revenues and profits. This stock will do fine only if they meet their projections.
"Russell expects sales for fiscal 2005 to increase approximately 15% to 17%, to approximately $1.50 billion to $1.52 billion. As previously stated, Russell expects earnings per fully diluted share in the $1.55 to $1.65 range for 2005. For the first quarter of 2005, the Company expects sales to increase in the 20% plus range and now expects earnings per share of $0.05 to $0.08."

OF course they have the Russell brand which is used at over 500 Division I teams and also provides the Little League World Series with the game uniforms. http://www.russellathletic.com/site/index.html
For the past 5 years it has been in a trading range but with the acquisitions in the past 2 years I think this may be a time to buy. Current market cap of about $600 MILLION. Projecting sales of $1.5 Billion. This is all my opinion. Do your own DD.

Made some money on this one last time. With the big drop it is a good buy IMO. Near a 52 WK low. Its also near a 5 year low. Look at the charts the past 5 years this one should bounce back with patience.
