I got in last Tuesday at 4.37 and almost sold out on Friday. Think I'll hold on this for a bit and see what happens this week. How high do you think this will go? I looked at XMSR and they are at low 30's...hopefully this will be the same

SIRI is (imho) a great long term play and has potential for nice short term runs also (look for an anouncement saying Howard Stern is moving to SIRI before Jan 1 2006, that will cause a big run).
Since I have no idea when that announcement will come, and needed ca$h for other stocks, I sold Friday (and made a nice profit).
Also, look for a pr stating they reached 800k, 900k or 1 million subscribers, that will also bring a run (esp the 1 million one, which should come out before 2005 per their predictions)
The pps is high compared to current earnings, but low compared to potential future earnings, imo...
Hope to get back in myself before too long.

Just because XMSR is in the 30s does not mean SIRI will get there. Look at the outstanding shares. SIRI has 1.3 Billion and XMSR has about 205 million. People will make money off of the HYPE but just take a look at the fundementals! SIRI curently has a market cap of 8.8 BILLION! I think it is a SELL here. They do not have 1 million customers yet. To have earnings of 10 cents a share they will need to have $130 MILLION in profit! Once they hit the 1 million customer mark you are buying a stock that has a market cap of $8800 PER CUSTOMER!! WAY OVERPRICED IMO. They charge less then $20 per month for service. That is less then $240 in revenue from subcribtion per year per customer. I just think this stock has more of a chance being below where it is now a year from now then most stocks!

Plus take a look at the last couple of 10Qs. Look at the period from 6/30-9/30.
Start of period they had $634 milliom in cash and stock holder equity of $1.23 Billion. At the end of the period they have $517.5 million in cash and stock holder equity of $1.08 BILLION. So in three months the have spent $116.5 million. Also take a look at the companies debt. They are starting to pile it up. I see MORE DILUTION. If they keep going through over $100 million in cash per quater where are they a year from NOW. Just a couple of questions to think about before investing in this one!!
