Saw this on Yahoo news just now:

Anyone in here knowledgable about this industry? We (or at least I ) would be interested in hearing your comments.

ENVA I dont know anything about this company but I put it on my watch list last month and it has not moved. There was news out about a deal with hyundai? let me know if you find something interesting out there, this should become a hot area soon. There is a company who has an agreement with ford but I couldn't find it again.

MCEL--is down now.......

they have focused primarily on car fuel cells using boron(not methanol) in the past

I have been following the fuel cell story since the 90's----we are not there yet---BUT for those of you in the REALLY LONG game there is a lot of opportunity still....mcel spiked after the power outages last year and is back down. the hard part is trying to figure out which technology will become standard. methanol makes the most sense since we already distribute oil in liquid form so MCEL represents a huge departure from the infrastructure we have already in place....

Oh Yeah. I have been closely following the "Fuel Cell Industry"! I love it and will continue to invest in it! I especially like PLUG, what great potention. Read my post in the "stocks over $5" board.
As far as fuel cells. Im sure you know that they convert water and hydrogen into electricity therefor eliminating our dependent on oil. No more gas station. They are building hydrogen stations all around the world right now.
Yes, during that electricity outage..all fuel cell stocks spiked and I was lucky to be part of that..100% spike.
George Bush says "every child born today will be driving a fuel cell powered car".. Its coming!
