I've been looking at historcial prices of some pennies and i noticed that some used to be over $100 a share, and are now under a cent. A good exmaple is AFRR. In january 02, it was at $200 a share. In 6 months from that time, it was under $100, 6 months and a reverse split later it was under a penny. Some people must have really gotten screwed pretty bad. What happened to make companies so overvaulued, especially AFTER the .com bust?

I was raised by INVESTORS---i have watched a lot----P/E was dinner table talk when i was in elementary school-LOL--i just watched the dot com stuff------it was kind of a curiosity to me and i did NOT have RISK capitol then --Now i have A LITTLE---i do not count on ANY Soc sec. --inheritance--or anybody else for my old age--if they are available--i will be pleasantly surprised.--LOL You have to realise that MSFT was overlooked (as was pointed out in micro's) by IBM and DEC--the two biggest players in puters at the time---they LOST---DEC is now just a part of one of its old competitors. INVESTING is more like watching the tides flow than trading---planning--sector analyis--NOKIA last summer was a rare oppurtunity in the BIGS--they fell ALOT on flat earnings(?_ weird )
Investing is done as group--that is what makes it work--safety in numbers-- trading is POKER plain and simple---I don't post much in TRADING stocks--cuz-----you have no friends at the poker table----I NEVER play poker with friends--SIMPLE--LOL
