i have tried to buy a few stocks, but this error message comes up.
Funds are not available for this transaction of a non-marginable security.
i have more than enough funds to buy this stock. anyway, i am using ameritrade. pls help.

How much stock are you trying to purchase? How much money do you have in your account? You should see cash available for trading and you should be able to purchase stock with that money. Maybe you are entering in something wrong? I have ameritrade and never had that problem.

This happened to me twice. once it was not waiting five days after a sameday buy/sell the next time it was a 5 business day waiting period after an electronic fund transfer.
