I've been long with VRMD since before the dividend split. The people who ramrod this company are power players. VP Daniel Duffy, at one time, was a very good trader. He knows it is in the best interest of his company to have a solid shareholder foundation, and he knows how to look out for the shareholders. VRMD just completed an aquisition that may increase revs in 04 by 1.5m and they are working on others. http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/040219/195457_1.html The forward dividend in January was an attempt to force naked shorts to cover and reward shareholders of record. We received a DIVIDEND (not a split, this is important because the naked short positions have to buy back 7 for 5 to cover) of 2 shares for every 5 owned. VRMD is in the process of more acquisitions, http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/040211/115601_1.html which could be completed in April. At that time they will spin off, change their name and trading symbol (again, hopefully foiling shorts) and attempt to jump from pink sheets to AMEX! almost unheard of but I believe these guys can do it. There will be a shareholder meeting March 14th http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/040128/285727_1.html If you are thinking of buying in, now is a good time as I believe the share price has hit its low. The MMs are straightening the books for end of month and will try to hold it down. Little volume is changing hands at these levels so I believe the shakeouts are over. It may base for awhile, but if they get to AMEX, hang on! JMO
