Oil@Work Selects AuraGen(R) as Power Source for Mobile Automotive Maintenance Vehicles

(AURA, Trade) today announced that Oil@Work, The Auto Concierge, L.P., a Dallas, Texas based company, has selected the AuraGen(R) to supply power for the company's mobile automotive maintenance vehicles. In this initial phase, Aura Systems will outfit 12 Oil@Work Mobile Service Center (MSC) vehicles with the AuraGen G6000X. The MSC vehicles are all based in the Oil@Work Dallas/Ft. Worth Regional Service Center facility. It is anticipated that an additional 12 MSC vehicles at the Dallas/Ft. Worth facility will be outfitted with the G6000X in the near future, with a projected 4 per month added thereafter to help manage their DFW expansion. This AuraGen model provides 5000 watts of clean AC power and includes Aura's Inverter Charger System (ICS) that allows the AuraGen system to provide power with the vehicle engine off. The AuraGen will be used to power the extensive array of tools, equipment, and instrumentation required in the automotive diagnosis and repair services that Oil@Work provides and the sophisticated computers and communications equipment used to manage their field technicians. The Dallas/Ft. Worth facility is Oil@Work's first Regional Service Center with 30 additional metropolitan areas targeted for new service centers.

Oil@Work provides full automotive services to the tenants who work in commercial office buildings. Its service allows customers to have their automobiles serviced while they are at work without having to use their own free time or valuable business hours. Part of the services they provide are performed through specifically designed Mobile Service Center (MSC) vehicles created by Oil@Work. The proprietary design allows most work to be completed in the customer's office garage or parking lot, and they have a complete ASE-certified repair facility for those services that can't be performed on-site ... with the concierge transfer of the customer's vehicle at no charge so the customer's vehicle is returned at the end of the day without them ever having to leave their desk.

Each custom designed MSC is a rolling state-of-the-art vehicle maintenance center, manned by uniformed certified maintenance technicians and equipped to service everything from oil changes and car washes to engine diagnostics and major repairs. Oil@Work is also piloting a sophisticated technology platform that enables them to stay remotely connected to their customers and workforce in the field, including sending digital images of repairs needed directly to their customer's PC at work for convenient inspection and authorization. The equipment will allow in-vehicle communications with technicians, remote vehicle diagnostics, and includes Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) technology to track and direct field technicians effectively.
