I hope to pick stocks that don't move up one day and die the next. It is just not good for the pocketbook. Will post stocks that I feel have some promise and hope along with some dd here: http://community.webtv.net/deethelm/StockAlertList This way I can add or remove stocks as things change. -- I need help in doing DD, finding good picks, understanding the news and SEC filings, doing technical analysis. Please post your findings below. I am a farmer by trade and have little computer or investing experience. So please post your picks, ideas, news comments, technical Analysis and SEC Filings below. Thanks in advance.

Try to pick stocks that don't move up one day and die the next. Post an entry price: Example BRK.A @ 10,000 or THTHF.OB @ .001. Post its potential and why you like it. If possible post some due diligence dd.

A stock pick I like is
FR.V or FMJRF.PK http://www.firstmajestic.com/s/Home.asp
info@firstmajestic.com
9.1 mil shares fully diluted (Dec. 2003)
@ $1.45 Cdn x .77 US/Cdn = 1.12
$10 mil MC

The Naica Mine: up to 80% ownership
4.3%Zn, 5.5%Pb, 6ozAg, 0.01ozAu, 0.34%Cu
5 million tonnes reserves
= 6 x 5 = 30 mil oz. silver reserve. x .8 = 24 mil oz.
from http://biz.yahoo.com/cnw/040113/first_majestic_mexico_1.html
Also, First Majestic acquired the La Parrilla Silver Mine in Mexico, a former producing silver mine that closed in 1999 due to low silver prices.  They expect to re-open in 4 months, producing 175,000 tonnes a year at 300g/t silver, which means 1.8 mil oz. of silver produced per year.  The cost to mine is estimated at $25-30/tonne, and recovery is 85-90%. It may be about half profit, or perhaps $5 million per year positive cash flow on over $10 million gross if silver is at $6.50/oz.
$10 mil MC / 24 mil oz.(not including the La Parrilla)++ = .42/oz.
You get "approx" 15 ounces in the ground for 1 oz. silver's worth of stock and then there is yet to be explored.
I'm undercounting their silver reserves, because I'm not counting the La Parrilla for there is no data for that. Also it costs money to explore.

Endeavour Mining Capital Corp. "EDV.TO" 27.7 million fully diluted shares, is a publicly traded mining merchant banking company. They provide finance to mining companies to fund their project development, strategic initiatives and growth. The Corporation offers investors a distinctly different way to invest in mining and precious metals.
With a Global Mining Network
The Corporation is managed by an international team of experienced professionals with a demonstrated performance history. Endeavour Financial, a leading investment banking firm focused on the global mining industry, acts as the Investment Advisor. They employ the experience, market intelligence and proprietary deal flow to originate and invest in a series of potentially high-return transactions. Their capital is invested in a series of transactions, such as private placements, convertible debentures, bridge loans and other forms of mine finance. The Corporation seeks to generate superior earnings through interest earned, fees charged and capital appreciation.
Currently, the Corporation is highly leveraged to Gold with additional investments in other minerals including Diamonds, Silver, PGM's and Base Metals.
----------- I need help in doing DD on this one.
