ThermaFreeze Products(TM) Corporation Reports Cold-Chain Solution for Grocery Deliveries at Albertson's Wednesday December 13, 11:41 am ET
THEODORE, AL--(MARKET WIRE)--Dec 13, 2006 -- ThermaFreeze Products Corporation (Other OTC:TFZP.PK - News) today released temperature control performance results in the handling of home grocery deliveries by Albertson's, Inc.
Albertson's provides delivery of a mix of perishable and non-perishable groceries to customers' homes, offered through Albertson's web-based order system. Deliveries are made by refrigerated vans.
Temperature-sensitive products, in particular ice cream and several other frozen products, posed a problem, since many products are difficult commodities to maintain at no higher than 10 degrees F during transit.
On-site temperature tests of van performance conducted by ThermaFreeze Products using temperature monitors, demonstrated that interior van temperatures rose in excess of 100% at each delivery drop-off, due to exposure to outside temperatures, making several products impractical for home delivery.
Use of ThermaFreeze(TM) refrigerant and ThermaBarrier(TM) protective packaging eliminated the "roller coaster" temperature conditions perishable products were subjected to.
President Joe Murray stated, "This is but one more example of how the Company's solution-based cold-chain management products change the standard from shipment of perishables to retail protection of foods."

The following was posted on another board regarding TFZP's potential market...
ECONOMIC DATA, TARGET SEGMENTS & CORPORATE TEST RELATIONSHIPS NORTH AMERICA (CANADA, MEXICO, & UNITED STATES North American population in 2002 was 405 Million with a Gross Domestic Product of $11 Trillion including food production of $2.5 Trillion. The US population is the wealthiest per capita market in the world with a GDP of $9 Trillion including food production of $2 Trillion and pharmaceutical production of $96 Billion. The US market for perishable “cold chain” sensitive food and pharmaceutical products is $19 Billion. Packaging includes Styrofoam (EPS), flexible packaging, refrigerants, urethane, etc.
A TPC share of market of 1/10 of 1% equals almost $200 Million annual revenue in the US for replacement of perishables’ shipping methods.
So 200m divided by the 0/S of 54m is approx $4 per share WOW!!!

Nice post. The companies that are already testing their products have all come back with nothing but positive reviews and interest. You cover the marketing range from Shipping to Healthcare to Supermarket, MASSIVE market, and they only need a small percentage of any one of them to be worth dollars and more imo.

Picked some more up as well today. These online brokers are really a pain when they stop buying, hurts the market. TFZP will build up on its own merit imo, regardless of scottrade 'slowing' it down.
