SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., May 18, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Patricia Gruden, President/CEO of eFoodSafety.com, Inc. (EFSF, Trade), announced today that the retail acceptance for Cinnergen(TM) continues to exceed the Company's original expectations. Prior to the end of the Company's fiscal year ended April 30, 2006, it received reorders from both General Nutrition Centers, Inc. (GNC) and The Vitamin Shoppe for Cinnergen(TM), an all-natural liquid nutritional supplement designed to regulate blood sugar.
GNC (http://www.gnc.com) has over 5,000 retail locations both internationally and domestically and The Vitamin Shoppe (http://www.vitaminshoppe.com) has over 260 retail locations throughout the United States and the District of Columbia.
The revenue from retail sales will begin to be reflected in the Company's first-quarter results ending July 31, 2006. Customarily, there is a 60-90-day lag between product shipment and receipt of payment. The very encouraging sign is that the reorders continue to show customer acceptance of the product.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 13, 2006-- Patricia Ross-Gruden, president and CEO of eFoodSafety.com Inc. (OTCBB: EFSF), announced today that eFoodSafety.com Inc. confirms reports that the bird flu virus has spread from human to human. A report from Indonesia stated that a woman contracted the H5N1 virus, spread it to her 10-year-old son, and five other blood relatives. All but one who contracted the virus had died. On Nov. 7, 2005, Lee Jong-Wook, leader of the World Health Organization (WHO), stated, "It is only a matter of time before an avian-flu virus -- most likely H5N1 -- acquires the ability to be transmitted from human to human, sparking the outbreak of human pandemic influenza. We don't know when this will happen. But we do know that it will happen." The recent findings in Indonesia provide proof that the bird flu virus has now inevitably begun to spread between humans. In the June 24, 2006, edition of the Washington Times, United Nations Bird Flu Chief David Nabarro said this is a "vivid reminder of the need to keep a very close watch on what the virus is doing." A pandemic of bird flu would be an unprecedented disaster. Economically, the World Bank warned that a bird flu pandemic could cause global gross domestic product to drop by 2 percent -- or about $800 billion a year. It is difficult to estimate a reasonable death count, but WHO forecasts have consistently remained at 2 million to 7.4 million deaths worldwide." Ongoing testing of eFoodSafety.com Inc.'s bird flu formulation -- Citroxin -- is currently under way in this Far Eastern region. Gruden commented, "We specifically began testing in Thailand to be as close as possible to the 'hot spot' where this potential pandemic could break out."
