In October, the former Saturday Night Live cast member and star of the cinematic classic “Deuce Bigalow, Male Gigolo” came out in support of 2014 California Republican candidate for governor Tim Donnelly.
“The state of California is a mess, and the super majority of Democrats is not working,” Schneider said, explaining why he was switching parties, at least for the upcoming election. “I’ve been a lifelong Democrat and I have to switch over because it no longer serves the people of this great state. …The last time I made a movie was seven years ago and that’s because we’re not being competitive.”
“Another four years of a Democratic administration will be a disaster for the state, as it already has been,” he added.
John Lovitz:
“This whole thing with Obama saying the rich don’t pay their taxes is ****ing bull****,” he said in an interview last year. “And I voted for the guy, and I’m a Democrat. What a ****ing asshole. The rich don’t pay their taxes? Let me tell you something, right. First they say to you, you’re dead broke, ‘the United States of America, you can do anything you want, go for it.’ So then you go for it and then you make it, and everyone’s like ‘**** you.’”
While Lovitz has denied being a Republican or a conservative, he did suggest on Twitter he may no longer be a liberal.
