Bachmann drops out of race after poor showing in Iowa. Perry is said to be re-assessing his run for President. A little surprised that the Iowa caucuses might not out 2 GOP candidates.

i think that Santorum will fade fast too. Every other word out of his mouth is pro-life. I think the Personhood ammendment failures have settled that issue. When Bush had Congress behind him for 6 years, he didn't do a darn thing to settle the pro-life/choice issues, and people are getting tired of hearing it. As long as you protect the life of the mother you can have relatively stringent pro-life laws in this country, heck it's nearly impossible to get an abortion in most states already.
Point being choice/life issues are not going to win an election. Santorum merely happenedd to be the only candidate who had already not held the front-runner spot with Romney, and they tried him on for size....

Bachmann I can see dropping out...she never had a prayer to start with. Perry has more name recognition...but it didn't seem to help him. And Newt...well he is what he is. I think Newt will hang around and be a drag on the GOP. Santorum...well he is as you say. Quite the muddled field overall...but with some dropping out...it should add some clarity for the GOP race. Romney I think is the clear frontrunner after Iowa.
