"Yes I believe in the gold standard. We should have never gotten off the gold standard because when we got off the gold standard, that then allowed Congress to inflate our currency whenever they overspent. Now look at the mess that we have"

Cain has shared first-hand accounts of racial discrimination. In a YouTube video uploaded by his campaign[62], he describes the experience of sitting behind the white/black demarcation on buses. He also talks about the experience of taking turns with his brother, standing watch as each took a drink from the "white" side of a segregated water fountain in a department store.
Cain explains that he does not embrace the concept of the "African-American". He says, "When people try to label me, I very quickly point out that I am an American first, black second, and I'm a conservative. So, I'm an ABC
He is really smart too. He was a mathematician in ballistics for the U.S. Navy. Wonder what the requirements for THAT job were. The left is smearing him already, and they are really ramping up the attack machine. Can you imagine the Republicans claiming the REAL first black President and not a bi racial person? MSNBC wouldnt know what to do but implode.

I dont think its a big deal or a left leaning news outlet may have taken it out of proportion. They are creative like that on the Chris Matthews, Rachel Maddow, or Ed sow.
I googled it and its nothing:
Cain has said he's running "a bottoms-up, outside-the-box campaign." Supporters say he taps into the Tea Party-fueled desire for plain-speaking citizen candidates.
What did you think that meant? It hints at a true grassroots thing.
