Recently Obama announced that over the next 90-days he is going to work to cut 100-Million dollars of spending out of the Federal Budget.

this puts it in plain visual perspective
This is NOT a knock on the President..... it is a fascinating illustration of the size of our accumulated debt. It's a non partisan demonstration of a fact of our lives.

did you notice the date on the article in the video?

April 20,2009 ...

we were in serious trouble all the way back in 2005. the whole "ownership society" "plan" was to stimulate the economy by geting peopl to buy homes, and "flipping" was all apart of that deal cuz "flipping" generates alotof tax revenues.

remebr the GOP "stimulus plans"? they cut US green checks with money that didn't even exist and mailed them to our homes...

it was ludicrous, and people liked it....

this 3.5 trillion deficit that everybody keeps pointing at didn't come from something that happened under just Obama's watch... it happened over a decade.

the "solutions" (LOL) have been worse than the problems if you ask me...

we really do need to rewrite teh tax code to close ALL of the deductions and put in the lowest marginal or advertised tax rates we can live with and then spend only what we collect unti the debts are apid off... it will take alot of courage to do that, but the interesting part is that these "bills that are too long to read" wouldn't need to be aprt of it.. we simply reset the marginal rate to 17-22% depending on what the exprts say we need, write off the first 25,000$ of income because it is the poverty level and then tax the rest evenly and fairly to all.. That tax law might take 5 pages to write if the polticians get aholtofit and 1 page for a "normal person" to write...

flat tax....or some kind of consumer tax. Get rid of all the thousands of ways they tax you and make it more streamlined. This is just out of control, how many new taxes have been "created" out of thin air since Obama took over?

Yeah yeah Obama extended the tax cuts...its not that im talking about. Its the new employer mandate tax, surtax on investment income, excise tax on health plans, hike in medicare payroll tax, indoor tanning services, bio fuels taxes, on and on and on and on.

If I was really feeling like a liberal, I would call the tanning bed tax racist...because tanning beds are used mostly by whites....so its like a tax on white people. So I would just be doing the same thing the left does and make up racism rants when a politician of the opposing party does something i dont like.

It isn't so much that liberals are ignorant. It's just that they know so many things that aren't so.
