Upside called his bluff about being poor and he had to leave us. I was greatly impressed by Upsides generosity.

i enjoyed reading him while others did not, i never took him seriously. He stayed "in character" all the time and some people rightly just did not apreciate that or his humor. IMO.

munchkin man was his handle...

Everyone thinks I called his bluff. The fact of the matter is that he's hard at work in the office next to me. He just popped his sweaty brow into my office and asked; "Can the Munchkin Man clock out early today?". [Big Grin]

That's why I loved the guy too. He had a unique ability to get under bdgee's skin like no one else.

Speaking of bdgee, what happened to him? Last time he disappeared someone (NR maybe?) coaxed him back by writing "Bdgee Come Back" sung to the tune of the old 70's song, Baby Come Back. Might be time to drag that one out of the vault again.

jordan wrote that, and budge got mad at me cuz i asked that we stop calling each other names.
the namecalling was making me feel uneasy. it was beginning to be in every post by a few people.
i prolly shouldn't have felt uneasy about it, but when someone else commented to me about it, i acted on my concern.

it's my fault, and i miss him too. i hope he is ok and i was not trying to bully him, i was only asking.

the whacko from ohio was also namecalling and he left as result of it too.

looking back on the situation, i was attributing too much value to the namecalling, it's just that i have been in too many situations where namecalling is just the beginning of worse.

LOL... One of my favorite Hall and Oates songs.

Spending all my nights, all my time, postin on Allstocks.
Doin' anything just to get you off my mind.
But when the morning comes, I'm right back where I started again.
And tryin to forget you is just a waste of time.

Bdgee Come Back!
Any Kind of Fool Can See,
There Was Something,
In Everything About You!

Now that we put it all together.
Give us the chance to make you see.
Have you used up all the love in your heart?
Nothing left for Allstocks, is there nothing left for Allstocks?

Bdgee Come Back!
You Can Blame It All On Me.
We Were Wrong, And We Just Can't Live Without You!

Cmon Bdgee, come back to Allstocks.

Alright, how many of you out there were sporting a mullet back in the 80's?

And, just for laughs, here is my favorite "Swiffer" commercial featuring the "Bdgee Come Back" song.

That is truly a classic Allstocks post. It ranks right up there with the guy (Andrew?) who was writing a novel about working in a nursing home and someone re-wrote chapter 1 for him. That one didn't last long though.

Hmmm Andrew.... I vaguely remember him but I must have missed the post about his book. Based on Glassman's post about a "sponge bath", I am kinda glad I did.

I kind of remember things a little different.

Before Munchkin Man i believe it was DWE, i was on a penny stock when quite a few posters were rather ticked off at him.

Several came calling on that post and it ended up a pretty good war, i thought that penny stock might take a hit since it went on for days.

It had been known to happen before, especially back a few years ago.

DWE had gotten under the skin of Glassman, Tex, Dustoff and several others and they came calling.

I think DWE had owned a company that did repos, if i remember correctly.

Seems like several months later he became the Munchkin Man.

The Andrew I remember--at least, at the moment--was a kid trader who had run a little string and got cocky one lazy Sunday or Saturday afternoon.

He tried to pump some nefarious ticker or another--one of the Raven Moon incarnations, as I recall.

Anyway, this was back in the day of K-Train, and the 'drew kid tried to jam his pump into the lazy-afternoon musings of Keith (before he became a known promoter) and Glass.

W-e-l-l...

You can kinda imagine.

He got chewed up and spit out, demolished via superior DD. K tried to warn him, to no avail.

As I recall, even Purlie Sue got involved...

I kinda liked that kid, too. Never knew what happened to him.

But it was an eye-opener to watch him basically dash himself on the rocks...

As I recall, he was gonna re-visit Costa Rica.

That might not be right, though.

Sometimes peeps just get tired of posting, for various reasons.
