So is anyone going to go get one? I think I will pass. It isnt anything I really need.

Maybe if it was more than it is. Right now it seems like it is a computer (but not really), an I-pod (but not really), an ebook reader (but not really), etc. Why didn't they add the phone tech too and complete the popular device fusion?

Nah, good idea maybe...but not fully fleshed yet.

All you need is your ipod with your itunes, then your apple notebook, and now your ipad. BAH!

i finally broke down and got a cell phone (not an iphone, just a keypad type) last year.

it's got a micro SD chip slot that i put an 8 gig chip into and it can play tunes and surf the web.

why would i want the ipad? an ebook reader might be nice but i don't think that's the idea here...

shoot i just read that it doesn't even have a USB port, my phone has one... what's the point of this thing?

of course now that i have decided it's not a great product, apple will go on to make few million profit [Wink]
