Global warming causes the coldest weather in the midwest ever

(01-12) 18:00 PST SAN FRANCISCO -- High-temperature records fell like imaginary raindrops in the Bay Area on Monday, among the warmest mid-January days ever.
It's also shaping up to be one of the driest Januarys ever - if not the driest. There's been almost no rain this month, and none is in sight, the National Weather Service says.
The thermometer hit 74 in downtown San Francisco, breaking the old record for Jan. 12 of 67, set in 1948.
"We broke the records pretty much everywhere," said weather service meteorologist Brian Tentinger.

The year 2008 tied with 2001 as the eighth warmest year on record for the Earth, based on the combined average of worldwide land and ocean surface temperatures through December, according to a preliminary analysis by NOAA’s National Climatic Data Center in Asheville, N.C. For December alone, the month also ranked as the eighth warmest globally, for the combined land and ocean surface temperature. The assessment is based on records dating back to 1880.

We drove down to Santa Monica- Malibu on Sunday walked along the beach and my wife said it's way to hot, lets go back to the car. 89 at the beach.

You should set up round here Glass. Guarantee you 4-5 months of that type of weather.
Looking forward to my walk to work tomorrow in -20 temps plus windchill. I know most folks can't imagine but it really can be quite nice, as long as you are properly attired.

LOL No cabin fever for me but I make a point of getting outside most every day no matter what.
People are starting to get angry and stupid on the roads though so I'd guess there are some.
I heard 700 accidents on the roads yesterday morning due to a combo of temps so cold the road salt didn't work and people being their dumb selves.

We are shattering cold weather records this year across the nation. At the same time Al Bore is making a KILLING through fear mongering about this subject through speeches and book sales.
It's called overkill. We need to take care of our planet, but this has gotten out of control.

My thermo said -22 this morning, our bank thermo said -25. At some point it just doesn't matter how cold it is, it's just to cold to breath. It aint so bad if your dressed right but my glasses keep fogging up dam*it!

You and cow (and some others) have proved repeatedly that you are not able to comprehend it or choose to ignore the facts.
