You got to admit....this is really going too far. These kids aren't even old enough to really know what they are singing about. I feel sad for these kids to be pushed into doing this. Face it...you know these kids are not singing praises for Obama because they follow his voting record and stay on top of the latest campaign news. What is worse than this?
Isn't this what they do to kids early on in North Korea to glorify Kim Jong Il?

pretty much... they quible over a few things to keep us upset....
this GOP bailout plan really makes me even angrier...
they didn't vote against the bailout cuz of all the phone calls, they are planning to take over the CDS's, repeal the new accouting rules that forced the banks to be honest about their assets and they want to eliminate the capital gains tax entirely...
eliminating the cap gains tax will only force somebody else to pay... and if somebody tries to re-instate it? they'll be known as a tax raiser...
in other words? the GOP House wants to drive us even deeper into the hole we are already in...

I know Glass...it's pure B.S. and I am getting very tired of the whole freakin mess...so...I am going to grab my bow/arrows, head north to gather some venison, and forget about it all for at least a little while.

i noticed during the primaries? McCain always had like 5 teens or early twenty somethings behind him in town meetings, but when the camera would pan around or pull back and get a wider view? they were the only "kids" in the room...
i don't think much of having the kids sing for Obama either... but i bet their parents put that "show" together...

I think that any politician that uses young kids to help promote their campaigns should be required to have to sit in front of the TV cameras for 2 hours just prior to their elections and have a question and answer session with 5-9 year olds asking questions of the canidates and these kids are randomely picked.
Boy would most of these candidates be in deep..... when they tried to BS these kids and the cameras could zoom right in on the candidates faces.
My 5 year old grandson put's me through these rigors all the time, sometimes i wonder if i am being set up by a 5 year old ... nah
Last week he asked me what a cup was like the one's baseball catchers wear.
I was trying to explain that it was like a cup you drink out of but smaller and it protects your lower side when a ball hits you.
He says isn't it a plastic half moon object that protects you, i said yes it's like that.
What does it do grandpa? It protects you so you don't get hurt when the ball hit's you.
Grandpa how come when i was watching the game the other day the catcher got hit in his lower side with the ball and he started jumping up an down a lot, i thought you said it doesn't hurt when you get hit with the ball when you have a cup on.
If i had been smart i should have refered this question on to his dad or mom, but grandpa usually takes a stab at all the questions and there are lots of them.

I just hope whom ever wins this election comes shining through once their in office.
The way i look at it now is that they are like a relief pitcher coming in when their team is down by 10 runs, if their team wins they will look like heros, if they let a few more runs in they won't look that bad either because 10 runs were scored prior to them entering the game.

Then, if the presidency is like the pitcher, I guess the defense and the batting order are like the congress.
An occasional no-hitter and having one of the best closers in the game can't make a winning team if the other team is always scoring 7 or 8 runs per game. And it doesn't make a rats azz bit of difference, over the season, how good or bad the pitching is, if the defense or the offense is dismal, the team doesn't make the grade.
Put together a team that divides itself into opposing philosophies on how to play the game, always arguing and blaming the other side, so that neither nor defense and offense operates as a team, and you don't have a chance to be well enough into the game to be successful. Ok so that leaves the management. It's the responsibility of the management to see that the team doesn't do that.
Folks, WE are the management in this Nation thing.
It is US that keeps loading up the membership of congress and the administration with wanna be preachers; "free market over all and forever" jerks that can't see past Adam Smith (but never bothered to read his works) and won't see past the bumper sticker on their car proclaiming "GOVERNMENT IS THE PROBLEM" or "REGULATION IS COMMUNISM"; dunderheaded ne'er-do-wells that never took a mathematics or science course beyond the required freshman survey course or any sort of course requiring actual serious study and got through college because daddy was a famous or powerful alum or gave huge donations to the athletic department; ex military whose only qualifications of any kind are a chest full of medals that prove they were too emotional to think things through before acting or were simply unlucky enough to be in the wrong place at the wrong time on the battlefield; and other loud mouth one cause local celebrities that can't get past hatred of anyone not equally dedicated to staying on course to do nothing but preach that one cause and vote against anything that anyone that disagrees with their belief on that cause proposes, declaring all those enemies to be socialist at best and to be unpatriotic cowards.
Those guys WE keep electing aren't qualified to make the off-the-cuff judgments they reach by counting bumper stickers or listening to talk radio and it is OUR responsibility to get that through their biased and ignorant heads!
It's the divisive narrow minded game plans based on bigoted philosophies for the team WE are fielding that is the problem.

We are the one's that are electing these guy's but sometimes at least to me it seems the choices suck.
Some of these guys seem real good before they get into office and within a year or two they are just like the other people around them, the power around them seems to draw them into that black hole.
Our Representatives do not listen to us very much of the time until maybe just before election time which is really BS. Maybe now they will listen a little more, but somehow i think they will pretty much go back to their usual routine after this. We need to keep after them one way or the other.
What i was really refering to in my relief pitcher analogy was that no matter what the next President does unless he really messes up, it can't look to bad following what President Bush has brought to this country during his watch.
Not that this will be good for us as a nation because now we need 15 runs to get us back into the game.

IMO? Pre-teen (and even that age is questionable) children shouldn't be "used" for any political agenda because younger than that they don't really comprehend what they are being "used" for.
Kids for Obama? LOL... Most kids are for whatever their parents or friends tell them they are for.
Seriously, I dunno about the rest of you, but I didn't have any of MY OWN political opinions until my Sophomore year in HS...
