McCain is pushing hard on the idea that America can be inventive and innovative. This is what the GOP has been lacking. Under Bush i have watched innovation be stifled.
His policies have been repressive to progress.
McCain should have been our president for the last 8 years.

McCain is actively pursuing a 300 million dollar prize for anyone who is able to produce a better battery system than the LIion battery.
this is an awesome blend of capitalism and pro-active govt sponsored innovation. cost? 1$ per person US. that's nothing. we should have prizes like this for all kinds of things. instead of promoting this type of mind-set? Bush and his cronies have been protecting the status-quo.
the cronies have redefined conservatism to mean stuck in the mud of history.

They shouldn't get a prize....The government should make auto makers produce better vehicles dramaticly and super fast...no "by 2020" bullchit

Yup I'm following your logic. Obviously I am because this was my idea a year or two back. Glad to see McCain reads allstocks. Glad he's smart enough to know who to listen to.
