I take great offense at your comments. I don't have any racist tendencies or thoughts. As I've said many times before, I judge people based on their behavior - NOT their skin color! Furthermore, unlike you socialists, I believe that everyone is equal - quite the opposite of your racists beliefs and statements.

I don't believe that the same percentage of whites and blacks are dealing drugs because that's not even close to what I see in the real world. In my experience, a shamefully high percentage of young black males in low income areas are using/dealing illegal drugs. Hint: that's why they are arrested and sent to prison in such high numbers for these crimes. Is that related to the number of black males still in poverty - yes (the fault of the socialists and their government handouts). Like it or not, YOU ON THE LEFT are directly responsible for this sad fact - whether you want to admit it or not! The definition of bigot is: a person who is utterly intolerant of any differing creed, belief, or opinion.
Therefore, I am certainly NOT a bigot. I am completely tolerant of anyone that has a different religion, race, economic situation, or political view. Glass, come back to reality. Rush got much worse treatment by the judicial system than the average person who had no significant prior criminal history. In my area, drug addicts typically get a $25 fine and court costs. Repeat offenders with prior criminal history might get a few days in jail and then probation. Only habitual criminals or those selling drugs get any significant prison time.
What Rush got instead of a $25 fine and court costs was a leftist prosecutor who tried to build his reputation of prosecuting Rush. It was ridiculous. Rush should have been treated exactly like any other drug addict under the same circumstances.

he most certainly did get preferential treatment, and he obtained scripts in at least three states. that's not a state issue that's federal. it seems to have been overlooked.
he was not a one-time first offender. his "case" went on for years and years. there are published reports showing that he was going thru a months supply of narcotics as often as every four days. that would indicate that he had to have at least 8 scripts (instead of one) per month to cover his monthly "habit"..
as for the dealer issue? the method of obtaining his drugs was the same way a dealer in prescription drugs does it. mutliple doctors. if you read the drug prosecution laws? you'll find that simple possession of certain amounts is considered proof of intent to distribute.
so how the laws are interpreted and rendered is often up to the discretion of the prosecutor. i'd say the prosecutor could have done much more to him if they had wanted to.
as for his price paid? what price did he pay? they agreed to make his charges disappear is what i read. LOL and as for his productivity? that's debatable too. LOL..
