Lose 20,000 jobs and the unemployment rate drops to 5%. Remember the US population is growing at about 1% a year!! So if you do some quick math THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE!!! The way they figure out the unemployment rate is a load of crap!

I believe them. Sure, the unemployment rate is only 5%, when you don't count people that are too discouraged to look for jobs and when you don't count the tens of millions of people that live on government (taxpayer) handouts. Yeah, it's only 5%, when you don't count that other 15%!
I also believe the inflation numbers. I believe that inflation is only running about 2% annually, WHEN THE GOVERNMENT DOESN'T COUNT ANYTHING THAT ACTUALLY THAT WENT UP!
The whole thing is ridiculous and it just shows that everyone in power thinks we're all STUPID!

I'm all for tax cuts - for people that actually pay taxes!!! However, to go along with those tax cuts, I would SLASH the budget; fix social security; reinstate workfare (in a more stringent form); get rid of the central bank (Fed); start drilling for oil just about everywhere; build nuclear power plants; build wind farms everywhere Ted Kennedy likes to go; and ship all the wacko environmentalists to a real socialist country (along with Al (I invented the internet) Gore).

do you know who really blocked "privatisation" of social security? Wall Street did. you know why? cuz they don't want to be hauled up to Capital Hill to testify every time the market "corrects" ...

The average schmo has been... since birth... educated to believe that government was their god. It has been incremental.. hence all the boiling frogs references. But the end result remains. Government has a desire to replace a fictional deity with an evil tyrant. In this case a tyrant with a brilliant disguise. A disguise of the public's choice. Every four years the public chooses the face of their tyrant. Zoom in and the public chooses their Deity's face continually if you count mayors, sherrifs, governors, and representatives of all sorts. It's a brilliant scheme. Really it is. ........... The point is You will never see an end to the pointless spending. You will never see the bottom of the pit. You can tell us all how you would do things different in whatever hope you have to convince us all that you want the system to work. What you fail to realize... and I assure you this is no attack... I would phase out nearly all handouts over a short period of time (like two years). That would include food stamps, Section 8, welfare, etc, etc, etc. I would repeal the Medicare drug program.
I would stop providing free healthcare via emergency rooms to people who aren't willing to buy insurance. No insurance - no healthcare. Healthcare is NOT a right!
I would immediately pass a law requiring the plaintiff to pay all court costs and attorney fees if they lose a lawsuit. I would also make filing frivilous lawsuits a felony and throw a bunch of scumbag lawyers in prison where they belong.
I would immediately stop all the luxuries in prison. No exercise (except hard labor), no tv's, no special meals because you're this religion or that religion. Bread and water for everyone. Want to smoke crack until you die? OK with me, but steal to support your crack habit, and I'd throw you in prison for a year (for a first offense). Want to be drunk all day long? Ok with me, but drive under the influence and risk the life of my family, and I'd throw you in prison for a year (on the first offense).
I would repeal a BUNCH of environmental laws and stop the ridiculous environmental impact studies and other nonsense that make construction so expensive.
I would severely cut back OSHA and the EPA. I would eliminate the department of education. Federal reserve - GONE! Gold standard - back.
Social security - brought back to reality. Extend the retirement age and drop the benefits to make the numbers work.
Get rid of the IRS and pass a very simple national sales tax WITH NO EXCEPTIONS for any special groups. If you buy something, you pay tax. Don't buy much - don't pay much tax. Buy a lot - pay a lot. SIMPLE!
I could go on and on, but that would be a good start.
Of course, this is all fantasy. The government isn't going to do anything significant until we have a total financial collapse, which is RAPIDLY approaching!
