Needs their head examined. I seen enough footage of his pastor for 20 yrs to help with my decision. Oh and dont forget the things his wife spewed. Oh and dont forget he considers his pastor family and is the godfather to his children. Oh and dont forget THE GUYS NOT FCUKIN QUALIFIED!!
And will the Obama lovers please spare me the lame excuses. If the situation was reversed you could bet the guy would be out of the race lickety split.
Its actually a joke that hes giving Billary a run...

i think it's got alot more to do with people sick of the "status quo"...
as far as i'm, concerned it's a joke that Billary or Dubya ran again.
US politics is mess.
Dubya won after 9-11 happened on his watch and plenty of people told US all the truth that he was not doing his job.
those that made excuses for him blamed it on Clinton?
then? Billary runs again after they managed to destroy the Democratic majority in the House and Senate...
Pat Robertson may not have been Bush's personal pastor, but Bush hired alot of Pat Robertson's paper mill graduates: 150 Graduates of Pat Robertson's College in Bush Administration By Jeff Musall, published Apr 09, 2007
Some have accused the Bush Administration of being far too cozy with the religious right and the agenda of dominion that they ascribe to. Others have reacted that the accusations are unfounded. The fact that the Bush Administration has 150 graduates of Pat Robertson's low rated and just recently accredited law school might suggest the former. This revelation isn't news to the faithful, it is even on the Regent University website. It is news to those of us concerned that the Bush Administration is in bed with the far right of the religious base. You know, the same 30% that for some unexplainable reason still think Mr. Bush is doing a good job. You know, the group who likely believes that the occupation of Iraq is just going great.
The school was founded in 1986 as the CBN University Law School. The American Bar Association (ABA) denied accreditation in 1987. It gave the school provisional accreditation in 1989. Full accreditation by the ABA didn't occur until 1996.
The fact that 150 grads of the illustrious Regent law school being in the Bush Administration came to widespread light because of Monica Goodling. The Regent grad 1999 quit the Justice Department last week. Just a few days after she had refused to testify before Congress by pleading the Fifth Amendment. She had virtually no prosecutor experience before landing a job at the top levels of the Justice Department. She served as Justice liaison for the White House and was deeply involved with evaluating the nation's federal prosecutors. It is the handling of the firings of several prosecutors which has led to the controversy that will most likely cost Attorney General Alberto Gonzales his job.

anyone who thinks obama is gonna change anything is sadly mistaken. every president runs on "change" the only "change" i see used to be a dollar, and that part will never be fixed, until you find a guy not interested in keeping the fed in charge of our downfall, or the obsession we have with foreign entanglements, or the lobby groups or think tanks with ulterior motives, any new president will be the same crap in a new suit.

Bond...just what makes you believe he will bring change...because he says he will? because it is time????
Seriously...that has to be one of the most naive statements I have ever heard
IF he does indeed bring about "change", I can guarantee that it won't benefit you or I...
He WILL be the same ole, same ole, democratic president...just as Bush has been the same ole, same ole, republican president that we have elected since the beginning of our lives...
turbokid is dead on here...I too am looking for REAL CHANGE...
Things like doing away with the IRS, the Fed, and lobbying and lobbyists...oh and how about "STOP FUKCING WITH MY LIBERTIES...
These politicians are "supposed" to be working for us....but the truth is that they are only working for themselves and their cronies...and Obama Bin Lying his azz off is no DIFFERENT than the rest!

And what other options are there Ms. Clinton we seen what her husband did sweep everything under the carpet and then corporate implotions Enron, Worldcom, and the famous "I didn't have sexual relations with that woman" line LOL or we can vote for Obama who IMO is just going to turn the government into a handout system for the poor and possibly crash the economy to record lows worse than the Great Depression even.

Of course McCain wants to bomb he is a military man thats the way he solves things.
To McCains life is very simple, he knows what the country can do and he knows where the large capital wants it to go. He knows what how to use the tools at his disposal. booms away baby.
One thing good about McCain once he gets going and he needs the man power we will see what kind of hawks are willing to put there money where there mouth is.
My observation of the past is you find them in the peace movment with a 180 degree turn on there political outlook on life.
You only have to look at our president and his 33 nieces, nephews, and childern none have served there country including himself and our disgusting vice president and his bunch of perverts he calls a family.
Happy hunting right wing idiots. You notice that I don,t call republicans idiots anymore I feel sorry for them. There only problems in life is they did not listen or believe anybody who said that a bunch of fascist were taking over there party and were going to trample our laws and values while all the time calling there maddness freedom. All you poor people did was drink the kool-aide and now you are whinning about the price.

The footage you saw was was hand picked by those who want obama to fail.
Obama doesn't have to agree with everything the pastor does, to like the guy!
I have friends that are idiot, and have delusional thoughts...but they're still my friends....but people don't think that I have the same thoughts, just cause it's my friend....we are 2 different people.
And in all honesty some of what the pastor said is true....most white people don't know the real history behind the drug laws that we have in are country....and what the purpose was. Cocaine used to be sold by cocoa cola in their soda...or you could walk into any store and have bought cocoaine....Then all of the sudden they blamed cocaine on causing "Crazed Negros"

Obama said right away Imus s/b fired for his racist comments and would not let his daughters hear the racist comments. Yet, he heard racist comments for 20 years and let his daughters hear hate speech.
What I find sad is that so many are so fed up, that Obama is even considered. Hey, anyone hear about how Wright teaches about no material wealth? Yet, the Unity Church is building him a 1 million + house. It is ok to own such a home but don preach hate agains material possessions..Thats say something--
Wright is not running but Obama is and he heard racist comments for 20 yrs and let his kids listen to it ---and remebe his speech abobut words matter??? Words do mmatter, thoughts are is who we are and become ---
And, he was his spiritual leader, etc..Obama has no integrity, has no judgment since he now denounces but yet witnessed for 20 yrs --- And, besides being a racist and hypocritical, he is too far left - supports handouts, that is in line with Wright-
I said before, the hate he preaches and the victim role he enslaves his followers-
And, so many still think it is o.k. It is not- but so many are emotionally angry at the last 8 yrs, etc, that a slogan change will appeal-
And, dont tell me Wright and this Church have done good- that is bs... It is evil to preach hate...a murderer also done good in life- but it dont excuse the evil in him---
The nazis done good for some- but their hatred was evil ---
There is more to this story---wait and see---

i'm curious what exactly Wright said that equates to what Imus said...
maybe i missed him calling SPECIFIC people, white people, trashy whores or whatever ethnic slurs African Americans have for white folk ho's these days?

Why are you so pro Obama after him being so racist?
What has Obama done? He condemned Imus and yet sat for 20 yrs of racism and hate towards whites... Wright has spewed hate and racist comments and enslaved his own--
Yet, glass you seem so pro obama -
Wright blames the white racists fo the african blacks problems...Obama condemened Imus but sat thu Wright spewing hate and racist comments towrds whites---I said befoe racism is wong in all itscolors and no decent folk would sit thru hate speech...
Hate to say it - but african americans only can blame themselves...
But, Wright plays the victim card and Obamas liberal policies play the victim card too---

Obama is racist? LOL.. he's half-white and half black, and you call him a racist?
i sense a problem, but it's not Obama.
if i am going to vote FOR someone? it's isn't going to be because their pastor said something i didn't like..
shall i go back thru all the times Pat Robertson and Falwell have damned this nation? cuz they have..
and don't hand me the "he's not Bush's personal pastor" issue...
John McCain was just giving a speech for Falwell last year... At Falwell's University, McCain Defends Iraq War
By ADAM NAGOURNEY Published: May 14, 2006
LYNCHBURG, Va., May 13 — With the Rev. Jerry Falwell at his side, Senator John McCain offered a spirited defense of the Iraq war on Saturday, telling graduating students at Liberty University that victory there was crucial to world security.
Mr. McCain, an Arizona Republican and a likely presidential candidate in 2008, made his remarks to 2,500 graduates in a high-profile appearance at the university, which was founded by Mr. Falwell, a conservative religious leader whom he once described as an agent of "intolerance" and a threat to the Republican Party.
hypocrisy is everywhere.
it's part of the sermon thing. nobody is really truly QUALIFIED to sermonise, and only ONE ever was...
you started off telling me Obama is a fake Christian. and went to a school for terrorists...
how many reasons do you need to vote or not vote for him anyway?

I have heard Wright's message before. Just as I have heard the message from the other side of the coin.
It's funny though, but I haven't heard Wright's message out of Barrack's lips. You'd think the man might hold a grudge against the "white man" after listening to 'that type' of talk. But I don't hear it. Nor does he or his wife seem to have problems working hand in hand with 'rich white folks' given their positions in life. What I hear coming from his lips is talk of a "new message" where polarized factions stop pointing out differences and start looking for similarities.
The chance of having that alone is worth a strong look at Obama as a candidate IMO. Put retired Reverend Wright, Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson, Pat Robertson, and Jerry Falwell all out of business. Stop allowing race to be a divisive factor that these men can profit from.
See...the idea of race is nothing more than historical fiction. It just doesn't exist once you get beyond skin and get deeper into the tissues. Kids are kids. Parents are parents. people are people.
They might act different because they were raise with different cultural values...but that isn't race. They might have more risk of this disease or that disease because they haven't been exposed or developed as much as an immunity to causal factors...but that ain't race either.
Once you look at the beginning of human civilization and how it spreads throughout history you realize that the whole notion of race should just be chucked out the window.
(literalistic biblical types will have to suspend their belief for a bit and imagine that the earth is a bit older than 6k years though.)
As to the candidates...
I DO NOT want my president having a senior moment in the white house as Mccain did on his overseas trip mistakenly mixing Iran and Al Qaeda together repeatedly.
I DO NOT want a woman who helped Wal-Mart become the largest chain in America using the same tactics of money-grubbing and power-wrangling in her management style of my country (when she isn't dodging bullets that is).
I DO want a man who can inspire the youth of our nation to stand up and believe in something... (anything ...PLEASE!) I do want a man who is open to exploring the idea of health care for all whitout switching the system so radically the system jams. I DO want a man who understands that if you take care of the root of the problem then the individual symptoms (i.e. divers licenses for illegal immigrants) don't really matter.
AND ABOVE ALL...I DO want a man who understands that we can't keep running this country by credit card.

i'm shocked that so many people deny racism still exists.
it IS a residual survival trait that has become superfluous. it's roots are well documented even in the Bible (the separation of the tribes). it still exists and will for a long time to come.
as BF (and others) points out? there many other grave issues facing US that make Obamas pastor a very minor issue.
one of the reasons we ended up with Dubya was religion.
I am such a strong admirer and supporter of George W. Bush that if he suggested eliminating the income tax or doubling it, I would vote yes on first blush. Jerry Falwell

while i am NOT defending Obama's relationship with his Church, or ignoring it? i think we have other issues to consider.
I would have preferrded Ron Paul, or at second? John Edwards or third? Bloomberg....

i agree, having lived in 7 different US states, and traveled to quite few countries where i was the minority? i've seen plenty from all sides...
i do think that one day racism will exist in a minority of people, but there will always be some way to divide us and them whether it be money, blue collar v white collar, science v faith, religion or nationality.

The biggest evidence of racism in this country is in real estate. Real Estate prices price out the poor ,which are overwhemingly minorities, and creates minority neighborhoods. This causes racism on both sides. From the whites who only want white neighborhoods because their views of minorities is that they bring down real estate values and cause high crime rates and then you have the minorities who see whites doing this and resent them so they commit crimes against whites and feed into the stereotype that the whites in reality created.
