Thomas Jefferson knew the answer to this question long ago. Here's are his words: "A private central bank issuing the public currency is a greater menace to the liberties of the people than a standing army. We must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt."
And what has happened EVERY time in history that a central bank has been allowed to issue fiat money?
