Even if you don't believe in any of the environmental concerns you want to watch this!

It is an amazing production from the BBC and well worth the money. I particularly like the scenes of the Great Whites of South Africa and the Birds of Paradise in Costa Rica but it is all breathtaking.

Discovery has the cheapest price I have found so far

Great series!!!I set a series recording on my DVR when Discovery initially aired the episodes...My favorite was the episode on caves, crazy how the different species have evolved over the years to adapt to their surroundings...Definately worth checking out if they air the series again...imo

Watched this one on Discovery, then bought the complete set afterwards. A bit pricey but worth it IMO.

Just looked at the website. $55 is not a bad deal at all, I think I paid close to $100 (with shipping) for my copy but I bought it right when the DVD first came out.

My two favorites episodes are "Shallow Sea" and "Great Plains". Wish I had a Hi-Def TV to view it on...

One is never completely useless. One can always serve as a bad example.
