Not me. The wife and I are staying in. Got two tenderloins on the grill right now (in a snowstorm) and two twice baked potatoes. Fire burning in the fireplace and a movie to watch after dinner. A bottle of champagne to ring in the new year and then maybe a little wookie wookie if Upside is lucky, not counting on it though.

PS, i do have a big noisemaker to light off at midnight. i'm only gonna do one cuz they'll prolly be looking for me afterwards and i don't want to give them a chance to triangulate [Wink]

last year? i did a 1500 foot marine flare, everybody in town saw it [Eek!]

http://www.nauticexpo.com/prod/dauriac-nautic-security/parachute-signal-rocket-2 5315-119155.html

just remember, these things will bring the marines..

don't call them out "for fun"

at midnight on new years? people know what's going on...

take one of these to a professional 4th of july fireworks exhibit, and you might get that one phone call for your lawyer....

i have a different brand, i buy 'em at Hatteras inlet where the offshore gear is sold... anyplace that sells offshore gear will have 'em...

if you go to boat junkyards? you can get DATE expired ones for a few dollars each.... otherwise they start at 40$ still within their expiration date and go up from there...

the Coast Guard checks the dates on them and they don't like it if you are carrying ONLY expired ones...
