i find this part interesting. they are basing the "unexpected changes" on man-made climate models? that seems to me inherantly flawed. your surprised by the unexpected changes that dont go along with some "model"? They find deviations in wheather patterns to be alarming but we still find new species on this planet, how accurate can these models possibly be? they are still trying to figure out the effects of el nino. Perhaps these "model makers" dont know as much as they think they do about the climate on our little blue hunk of rocks. My local wheatherman uses a model to predict wheather, and it was supposed to snow today.. all i saw were some clouds, but im sure it snowed somewhere in the world so maybe the model is accurate, see how fun guessing is?

I think we have idiots here not terribly different from the those that questioned the integrity of Pasteur's work and judgment. Refusing to believe there could be lifeforms not cataloged by God in the bible or too small to be seen, they made silly jokes and ridiculed his rabies treatment. at 83 million barrels per day? we produce as much CO2 as the Amazon water flow river at it's absolute maximum flood stage. that's not an estimate, guess, or prediction. it's cold hard fact.
that doesn't count coal and other sources, yet we don't do anything to reabsorb the excess CO2 we are obviously producing.

To tell the truth, I got so fed up with being labeled (particularly with labels that I don't fit into) whenever I tried to reason and being called unpatriotic and un-American and things much much worse (more often than not with a string of adjectives or suggestions depicting quite vulgar and often impossible acts) , noting that those intentional insults and slanders came almost always from far right conservative republican hotheads that make a habit of insulting and labeling anyone that offers any though not paralleling the RNC talking points of the week (while also declaring anything that dubya said as certainly and absolutely to be the word of the Christian god that conferred with dubya, in English, on everything), I decided the only thing to do is offer them a healthy dose of their own medicine.
They only seem able to notice it and object when applied to them, but think it entirely appropriate when they or someone of their ilk does it, whether directed at someone in particular or intended to smear the name and reputation of some class of people and even when done in the third person.
