What you are is trapped in definitions out of the republican talking points handbook.

Yes, I knew there was a "republicans for choice" group and I knew Hillary started off being a Chicago republican conservative (hasn't changed a lot, really).

Dubya is NOT a liberal or anything closer than several thousand light years from that. He is definitely backward enough to please the far right wing and capture the pleasure of the entire republican party.

Biden? He chances with situations and is not exactly labelable.

I do not trade in the labels you are so enthralled with as you want them to be. I know too many people that properly belong under a tag of conservative or liberal that hold strong beliefs against what you want to bundle therewith.

Too, there is such nonsense as republicans claiming they want to lessen the entanglement of government in the lives of the people, then time after time supporting crap such as warrantless searches at the whim of some government official or legislation to require a GPS system in cell phones or dictating medical procedures according to the wishes of right wing evangelicals.

A person claiming to be a liberal and sincerely believing he is, while contributing money to the efforts of a religious movement trying to alter the first amendment so as to allow schools to require prayer of students and teachers is another example. Similarly, a person buying into these republican movements to cloud the real issues behind such nonsense as government funded private schooling so that money can be funneled to churches and our children indoctrinated is no liberal and certainly is not a lover of America and it Constitution.

Party loyalty as a cry is un-American, but is quite nazi-like.

Then you don't remember very well. For several years there was a sizable faction of the population that insisted Perot was born to become the savior of the world.

ummm..No I remember quite accurately...
Perot didn't have this motivated a following.
Perot was saying ALOT of the right things at the time, much like Paul is right now...
But the movement behind Paul is alot more energized.
On a side note I'd like to know if you ever let your life size billary doll wear clothes?

My question is will Ron Paul run as a third party candidate when he doesn't get the republican nomination?

It seems I heard him answer in the negative to that query a couple of times, Big.....

And there is no reason to doubt his veracity on the subject, Big. It is clear he could have won his district easily running as a whig or a Tory or a democrat or whatever and he chose to run as a republican.

Then it seems he's pretty much already done for.

He doesn't have the "polish" to be a mainstream republican candidate IMO.

But hey, if you guys who vote in the primary get him the nomination somehow then I'll consider him.

we're working on it big.. his campaign is growing rapidly. he has already raised double this quarter than he did last quarter and there is still a month left and another "money bomb" scheduled for dec 16th

Ron Paul's supporters are preparing for a Tea Party — the campaign's next major fundraising event.

Scheduled for the Dec. 16 anniversary of the Boston Tea Party, it aims to raise $10 million in one day for Paul's campaign.
--
That follows last week's "money bomb," which raised $4.3 million in 24 hours.

Wouldn't the best protection for our Nation be to conduct ourselves so as to demonstrate that we respect other's views, so that we aren't constantly making insulting remarks about them and threatening them and encouraging them to believe they must plan to attack us in order to make us understand they want and deserve respect?

Or do you prefer what we have had in recent years? If so, stick to the current model.

You can catch a lot more flies with honey than with vinigar.

Whoever gets the democratic nomination, Highwaychild.

It's like the old guy I met this morning. Said that in over 50 years of religiously voting he had always voted a straight republican ticket, but has decided that from now on, he intends to vote against everyone that claims to be republican or appears on a ballot identified as one.

I see his point. The republicans have certainly earned their fall. And as he said, dubya may be the dumbest jerk that was ever president and a crook on his own, but the rest of the republicans were the reason he could set about to destroy the country. They are all crooked and not go0od Americans. How do you argue with him?

I hope they don't put her in the run,lol

1, I don't think now is the time for menopause lounge. Hugo, Osama, Iran's Mahmoud don't respect women all that much.

2, I'm about sick of a Bush or a Clinton in there. I barely remember when there was a time when there was anybody else's name in there.lol

We need a real change, just too many of 'em in it are out for themselves instead of 'We the people'.
