DeCODE genetics offers for the very first time to decode you genes. For a small price of $985 you can now learn where your ancestors came from, and your inherit risk to over 17 diseases. It would be pretty cool to find out where my ancestors came from but diseases ummm... I dont know man... I think something are just better left to the unknown. I mean what if you get the results and it tells you that you have a 90% chance of getting Alzheimer's in your 60's. So you spend the next 10-40 years etc just waiting to get Alzheimer's [Confused] . The way health insurance is these days if this catches on your health insurer may just require it . It does sound like a cool idea though if you have an extra $985 lying around.
Check out their website: DeCODEme

BTW, the company is public, NASDAQ symbol: DCGN

Nah, I'd rather use the $985 on something else like a good bounce play, lol. My wife mentioned it would be great for people who are adopted and didn't know who their parents were to get an idea of where they came from.

Greetings:

The Munchkin Man needs almost $985 right now in order to pay his rent for the month of December.

Otherwise, the Munchkin Man's genes may be headed straight to a homeless shelter.

But then the Munchkin Man wouldn't be able to keep you company.

What the Munchkin Man will probably wind up doing is getting a Payday Loan to pay his December rent.

The Munchkin Man has done it many times before.

Good luck to all.

Best Wishes,

Munchkin Man

The Munchkin Man already has a shrink he sees once a month for a medication check.

The Munchkin Man also has a licensed therapist he sees once a week.

The Munchkin Man also sees his state disability vocational counselor in two weeks, in order to help the Munchkin Man find a job.

The Munchkin Man's IPE is going to be changed.

This is an acronym for Individual Plan for Employment.

The Munchkin Man is also applying for Social Security Disability benefits for the 3rd time,
after being denied the first two times, and this time with expert and professional representation.

A lot of people are coming together at this time to help the Munchkin Man.

The Munchkin Man is truly blessed.

Best Wishes,

Munchkin Man

People who can't pay their monthly rent which is less that $1000 a month (god I wish I could find a place for $1000) and need social security disability benefits don't belong on an investment forum. IMHO of course.

Greetings:

Let's get one thing straight.

You don't tell the Munchkin Man where he does and does not belong.

With all due respect, the Munchkin Man finds the opinions you have expressed above to be extremely rigid, narrow-minded, and prejudicial.

Your stance that those who are disabled and have limited income should be denied the opportunity to participate in an investment forum, preventing them from learning enough to partake of the advice contained therein, is exclusionary and discriminatory.

It smacks against the spirit of the American Disabilities Act. Access to investment advice should be available for everyone -- from the very poor to the very rich.

Instead of spitting out your sour grape seeds over the Munchkin Man's monthly rent, you should really give the Munchkin Man some credit for having the resources to find a nice high rise studio apartment unit for less than $1000 a month.

Make that less than $800 a month to make your dart hit closer to the bullseye. Now you can eat your heart out just a little bit more.

As it stands right now, the sum of the Munchkin Man's monthly rent, plus the monthly total of the Munchkin Man's copayments for his doctors' visits and his prescription medications, IS GREATER THAN the net income the Munchkin Man receives from his monthly state disability check.

The Munchkin Man hopes you never find yourself in such a situation.

If you don't, then please accept the Munchkin Man's congratulations and give yourself a pat on the back.

You probably handled your money better than the Munchkin Man did in your earlier years.

The Munchkin Man no longer has control over what he should and should have not done with his money in the past.

The Munchkin Man can only try to exert better control with his money during the present and whatever future he has.

There are times when life circumstances, whether they are one's fault or beyond one's fault, can come along and give a person a black eye.

When this happens, it is time to get back on one's feet, take any and all steps to heal oneself, regroup, take stock of one's circumstances, form a new game plan, and then try to execute that plan.

This is exactly what the Munchkin Man is trying to do.

In the meantime, please don't try to give the Munchkin Man a black eye for making his best efforts to improve his financial condition by trying to learn something from an investment forum.

Thank you.

Happy Holidays,

Munchkin Man

It more than stretches the imagination to realize that a person that entirely depends on the good intentions and generosity of others, primarily via governments sponsored welfare programs, can be so politically ignorant and out spoken in support of the extremely rigid, narrow-minded, and prejudicial social philosophy of the republican machine that demands nothing less than eliminating every modicum of government sponsored aid to the less fortunate.

It just goes to show you how illogical, ignorant, and truly dumb a fool can be.

Hmmm? Lollypop making might be interesting.

Listening to the whining of a self made dufus that only can survive via Social Security rail against it is a bit much.

Just you watch!

The Munchkin Man is going back on the comeback trail.

The Munchkin Man is going to the YMCA first thing tomorrow morning for a workout and reclaim his fighting spirit once again.

The Munchkin Man has just played back the lyrics of "The Eye Of The Tiger" in his head.

And now the Munchkin Man is psyched.

The Munchkin Man is going to become a success once again, in spite of the outsourcing that has taken the Munchkin Man's textbook editing work away for the past 6 months.

No more pity parties for the Munchkin Man.

Only success.

Just you watch!

Munchkin Man

The Munchkin Man doesn't like doughnuts.

They give the Munchkin Man gas.

Instead, the Munchkin Man's biggest temptation will be resisting the potato chips they sell in the YMCA vending machines.

Best Wishes,

Thank you very much for your very heartfelt and sincere advice.

The Munchkin Man did see a doctor three months ago.

He fussed at the Munchkin Man for the shape he was in and for not exercising.

Nevertheless, the Munchkin Man knows enough to take it slow and easy at first.

Thanks again!

Best Wishes,

Munchkin Man
