Death of the Dollar - Jay-Z Flashing Euros a Sign of Recession?

The tanking US dollar is no longer cool in the world of rap. Fast forward to 1:20 in Jay-Z’s ‘Blue Magic’ video and you’ll see that Jay-Z is flashing 500 euro notes. Some see the switch as a sign of recession.

Mark Olson of Southwest Newspapers noted, “When I start seeing rap stars flashing euros instead of U.S. dollars, I know our economy is in trouble. Jay-Z carries a lot of weight. Just look at what happened when he began boycotting Cristal champagne. It’s sad that rap stars can no longer show their style with a good old $500 U.S. bills (featuring President McKinley) and now need to flash €500 Euros (featuring some sort of suspension bridge).”

Ex rapper looking for work as the recession starts to take hold in his area...

Joe Smith started the day early having set his alarm clock (MADE IN JAPAN ) for 6am. While his coffeepot (MADE IN CHINA ) was perking, he shaved with his electric razor ( MADE IN HONG KONG ). He put on a dress shirt ( MADE IN SRI LANKA ), designer jeans ( MADE IN SINGAPORE ) and tennis shoes (MADE IN KOREA ). After cooking his breakfast in his new electric skillet (MADE IN INDIA ) he sat down with his calculator ( MADE IN MEXICO ) to see how much he could spend today. After setting his watch ( MADE IN TAIWAN) to the radio (MADE IN INDIA ) he got in his car ( MADE IN GERMANY ) filled it with GAS from Saudi Arabia and continued his search for a good paying AMERICAN J O B. At the end of yet another discouraging and fruitless day checking his Computer (Made In Malaysia ), Joe decided to relax for a while. He put on his sandals ( MADE IN BRAZIL ) poured himself a glass of wine (MADE IN FRANCE) and turned on his TV (MADE IN INDONESIA ), and then wondered why he can't find a good paying job in .. AM E R I C A .....

Unknown.

ol' Joe smith must be one heck of a lazy azz. maybe he should have another glass of wine and go back to slingin crack. OR...go out and find a real job where he might have to actually do physical labor! If he really wanted to work (and i mean WORK}, there are tons of jobs.
