Is it any coincidence that a Democrat senator gets suddenly ill and may not be able to serve his term, and that he is from a state governed by a republican who gets to choose the next senator from that state? And then the republicans will gain control again...

Is this any coincidence at all? Do you not see the extremes of corruption the Bush regime will go to?

We don't know yet, nirv.

Are you suggesting he may have been poisoned?

Mostly murder or attempted murder by poisoning is a European facination and endeavor. Americans tend to be more direct and personal in their displeasures.

I believe he could have been poisioned or a foreign substance could have been injected in his body to inflict his health.

I would not put it beyond the Bush Reich to do such sinister things.

This forum needs a name change. Or maybe we just need a new "Crackpot Consipracy Theories" forum.

And you believe this is all pure coincidence and pure dumb luck for the republicans? I guess you read this thread after your daily brainwashing by King George.

Do I believe it's a coincidence that a Democratic Senator has taken ill? Yes. You can add to it whatever you like beyond that fact but by doing so you turn it into what is a cracpot conspiracy theory. You are in essence saying the Republicans have plotted to murder him.

There are republicans so bereft in moral values I could imagine them poisioning a democratic senator in order to reclaim a lost election.

There are republicans stupid enough to think they could get away with it.

But I think the odds of finding those two residing in one body is overwhelming.

10 watts?

Aren't you being a mite generous?

He might could warm up an LED, but I wouldn't bet the farm on it.

He is devious enough to consider poisioning a democratic senator, with Rove's help in the thought process. It isn't that dubya is inherently evil, just too stupid to understand what is and isn't evil. Rove is bright enough to know better, thank god, because he is that evil.

Bush's job approval rating is now at a dismal 34%. He and his murderous crew will do anything at this point. They are grasping.

Maybe he just learned of the new five day work week and keeled over...

Rep. Steny H. Hoyer, the Maryland Democrat who will become House majority leader and is writing the schedule for the next Congress, said members should expect longer hours than the brief week they have grown accustomed to [...]

"Keeping us up here eats away at families," said Rep. Jack Kingston (R-Ga.), who typically flies home on Thursdays and returns to Washington on Tuesdays. "Marriages suffer. The Democrats could care less about families -- that's what this says."

(SOURCE )

Yeah, Kingston. Shipping people off to Iraq tends to "eat away at families" a little bit as well.

This guy's making somewhere around $165,000 a year.

What an arrogant bonehead. He's lucky he still has a job.

No, more work hours will cut away from Kingston's time with his mistress. It will be harder for him to schedule in family time and mistress time.

To say that one political party over another "could care less about families" is pure ignorance and stupidity. What a fool... the party of fools.

From the constitution:

The Congress shall assemble at least once in every Year, and such Meeting shall be on the first Monday in December, unless they shall by Law appoint a different Day.

I'm surprised no one is demanding a one-day-a-year work schedule. Of course, the first Monday in December would cut into the holiday season...

Yes, a stroke, induced by poison. How can you not see that they picked a senator from a state where the governer gets to pick the replacement senator? And it is a hardcore republican governer. Guess who he will pick? And guess who gets the final say? Dick Cheney.

Seems kind of funny that Bush chose to murder this particular Democrat. He's one of the most conservative ones around, he's voted with Bush on many issues, including the tax cut, hell, he was damn near a Republican on many issues. I wonder why Bush didn't choose to murder one of the real pains in his ass? Wait, I know why, it's because he's ignorant, right?

It simply makes it less obvious to attempt murder on a conservative democrat. Because the blind masses will be thinking the same thing you are.

Bush and the repubs need control of congress. Bush is power hungry and he lost all power in November. He and his reich are grasping and groping for power any way they can get it, even if it means poisioning an innocent man to regain control.

Bush is a politician that will go to any lengths and extremes to keep his power clasp on America and the rest of the world. Wake up!

Did you know that Bush caused the tsunami of 2004? He authorized testing of a new weapon of mass destruction. They dropped it to the bottom of the Indian Ocean and detonated it. The rest is conspiracy history.

Did you know that as a very young Bush, he hated the music of the Beatles? So, in 1980 when there was some talk about a possible Beatles reunion, Bush arranged the murder of John Lennon?

Oops, sorry about that one, my mistake. But, did you know that in 1981 little George was so enraged that his daddy was only the Vice President, that he shot Reagan?

************

Repoman75,

I can't imagine how a fascist earthworm like you came to the decision that you can "defend America." You clearly have no idea what being a patriot means.

(However, I do love the irony of seeing a Nazi defending "American values" on a public bulletin board.) [Big Grin]

If I remember right Andrew, you're pretty knowledgeable about the bible, right? Here's a tidbit I'll bet you didn't know. The name of the soldier that stabbed Jesus while he was on the cross was Longinus W. Bush.

I see your point, Upside.

However, just because Martians probably didn't kill Kennedy, it doesn't make a full investigation unnecessary.

Don't throw the Bush out with the bath water.
