Just for shiitz & giggles I thought I'd ask what others may do in this situation.
My situation is: (short version) About 20 years ago I lost $20,000 in the stock market due to fraudulent activities of a stock brokerage firm. After a looooong drawn out class action suit, yesterday I finally received my huge whopping settlement check for $296. (I guess the Attorneys got most of the winnings)
Here is my dilemma, what to do with that money?
a. should I take my girl friend out for a nice dinner and drinks?
b. invest the money back into the market and see if I can turn $296 back into the $20,000 I lost.(now that I'm a better trader! IMO HAHAHA)
c. other ideas to be considered.
TIA

Upside said - c. Booze and a hooker. (This one has potential.... but I may lean towards safer...... Dinner/Drinks/Girl Friend, get lucky afterwards.)
Andrew said - Take your girl friend out for dinner and drinks, just don't let your wife find out. (only have an Ex, and definitly not letting her find out, she will think I owe her half the $269)
