I'm creating this thread for when we want to just get away from the trading thing.. GO YANKS!!! Nice game last night 9 - 2. Unfortunately the Red Sox won so we didn't further the spread. All sports talk welcome.

The big series this weekend is the Twins vs. White Sox. Twins have won 5 out of the last 6 vs. the WSox who continue to lead the Twins by 1/2 game in the AL wild card race. White Sox beat Tigers today 10-0. Twins blasted the O's 11-2.
The Twins will not go away unlike most of the national media seems to feel. I wouldn't want to face them in a short series especially if Liriano comes back. Santana and a healthy Liriano are nearly a guaranteed win.

I gotta tell you boy's, I like our chances. I was watching Baseball tonight on ESPN the other night and the host was praising the Twins. He was saying that if they take the wild card lead the Tigers had better watch their backs because there would be no stopping the Minnesota Jason's, er ahh, Twins rather. Liriano and Santana are the deadliest 1,2 combination in Baseball and Liriano is throwing again so look out.

ESPN reported on Mike and Mike in the Morning and Cold Pizza that the Twins were playing in the Metrodome this weekend. That is joke! I know we are a fly over states but give us little respect! Vikes played a preseason game in the Metrodome tonight.
How can the Sportsleader get that wrong. All we hear about are the Yankess and the Red Sox. My mother could manage the Yanks while she IS in her death bed!! Trust me she is good!!
