Well, it looks like there are a number of people here who lack the intellect and the education to appreciate good literature. This has been evidenced by a lot of your comments and the deletion of my theads last night.
Here's why I came here in the first place. Several years ago I started to write a series of essays and short stories on the internet which reflect my personal philosophies and which portray some true slices of my life.
Some of my works never made it onto the internet.
I had them saved on my computer instead.
Then I gave up my writing for a while.
A couple of weeks ago I found a publisher who reviewed and enjoyed a lot of my work. I told him that I would fine tune some of it before formally submitting it.
He told me that a book contract is practically a done deal if I am interested, and he expressed the opinion that my work is better than that of George Carlin.
In order to fine tune my work, I chose a neutral message board and presented a lot of it here. Apparently, I chose the wrong place, and so I shall move on to another one, where people are a little more educated and open-minded.
Before I leave for good, I will give you the gift of my last essay on this board, which I consider my best.
I had planned to save my best for last anyway.

It was way to obvious.... The more thought given to the whole progression of his posting "reeks of a planing...The dude has an agenda alright...

Listen here you half witted piece of sh!t. You do not walk into the middle of a conversation a group of friends are having, and just begin to spout off what some idiot has told you is good literature. First, whoever told you that what you right is literature is obviously the product of many years of hardcore substance abuse. What you write would get a kindergartener an "F". Horribly constructed... wandering as if having a point is a death sentence. Witless, where the humor is based on what would make a chimp laugh.
