The more time goes by, the more I start noticing gas tank doors on vehicles are located on the rear passenger side. Mostly European cars like Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Volvo, SAAB, Volkswagon and so on have their gas tank doors located on the rear passenger side. Now, I notice there are alot of American vehicles like GM, Ford and Chrysler with their gas doors on the passenger side too. I mean what gives, man? Isn't it MUCH MORE CONVENIENT to have the gas tank door on the "DRIVER'S SIDE" rather than on the opposite side when you're at a gas station filling up? Jesus Christ! Why is everybody trying to make things more difficult than it already is??? Anyway, I DON'T CARE how nice a vehicle looks or if I like the vehicle alot.....
I REFUSE PURCHASE ANY VEHICLE WITH ITS GAS TANK DOOR ON THE PASSENGER SIDE!!! IT REALLY BUGS THE SH!T OUTTA ME!!! The American auto makers should correct this major "inconvenience" PRONTO!

Well, they did used to be dead center behind the rear license plate...
Kinda like my politics....
But it could be some giant Right Wing conspiracy convoluted by some Neo-Nazi organization out to remove excess fat from Portly left-wing drivers.

That was fine too. They quit making it like that since the late 70s if I can remember. BUT PLEASE, ALL AUTO MAKERS...... KEEP THE GAS DOOR ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE!!!!! And no, the Republicans didn't have anything to do with this.
