strange beez wax--not usually a problem, ruh...
this seems to be an electrical fire, just guessing from the lack of reaction of the smoke to the amount of water they're pouring on it. It's a new "dollar store," lol--prolly after they got the CO? started overloading powerstrips.
Won't know till later. Made sure my house is safe, then made sure my buds on the daily paper were on scene...
cough cough, it *is* smoky up in here...I'm two blocks from roiling grey smoke, breeze pushing it exactly toward my house...

Fort Worth was originally built on top of hills over looking the flood plane of the Clear Fork of the Trinity River to the west. It's hard to notice now, because that bluff has been cut and pared and covered with some right tall buildings, but it's still Qquite a healthy drop from downtown 7th Street level to the parking lot at old Monkey Wards. And ou'chere in the far reaches of the west side o' town, we have some serious hills along the river and Mary's Creek. Nothing like those out around Ranger and Eastland, though. Ya know, I've been through the Tennesse and Carolina Mountains and even stood at the foot of that hill outside of Atlanta that is claimed to be the highest east of the Ozarks and Ranger hill is way more hill.
But I have to agree, Tex, what yaw'll over thar on the noth side been doin wrong? Yaw'll sho has had a heap o' fires here of late. Careful now and don't get burnt, lad.
