3:00pm 09/12/05 Embattled FEMA Director Brown resigns - reports By Jeffry Bartash WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) - Michael Brown, the top federal official in charge of responding to natural disasters, reportedly resigned Monday just days after he was removed from direct command of relief operations in the battered Gulf Coast. Brown, director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, has become a lightning rod for what critics view as a lax response in getting aid to the devastated areas. He was relieved of duty in the Gulf last Friday and sent back to Washington. His role in the Gulf was assigned to a top Coast Guard official.

The top Fema officials in the northwest spend most of their time on fishing trips. Someone should look into the Northwest department of Fema heads credentials. and how they earned placement by president bush. same story as mr brown.

Yeah, Glass..., "....at least his replacement isn't a retired dog show judge."
But there is evidence he's either too ignorant to understand what it takes to stop gamma rays or he's getting kickbacks from some tape maker.
