Figured there's a lot of successful people out here in allstocks land, maybe I can get some advice. I'm a big believer in learning from others.
I'm 28 and reside in Northern Cali, current trade is "Technician", pretty broad huh? I install GPS hardware into vehicle fleets and also support said hardware. I started out doing PC hardware, software support and fixing printers, but there is so much competition that after I got laid off from a great job, I didn't bother to update my certs and try to get back in. I've worked temp windows XP rollout jobs with people with much more education then I, but they couldn't find permenant jobs either.
Anyway, I dont care to work this job much longer and was hoping someone out there could give me ideas of where I should go from here.
I have good work ethic, technically inclined, never been fired, often recieved praise, great relations and learn easily so I have confidence in my abilities.
I believe I could be a successful small businessman but not quite sure where to start, I've no real skills that I could turn into a successfull business, just general skills that I believe would lead to success in the right business (customer service, hard work, money management, hard work:), creativity & obsessiveness ) maybe some ideas here from business owners?
I've thought about going into construction as a grade checker, nothing too physical as I'm not a big guy, also maybe an x-ray technician.
Daytrading would be a dream come true since I could do it from anywhere there is internet. I've had microcraptrade for a year and haven't had the time to do the dance, I made 27 trades my first 2 weeks and made $215 I think. I plan to give it another go after I sell some stocks I've been holding(qbid ) but I wont hold my breath for this one.
Well that all sums me up, $ is my biggest draw, along with location, I'd like to end up in Oregon, Washington, Alaska.
I'd like to talk to anyone who has any ideas, or would like to offer advice, either here, PM, email, or yahoo messenger: mixolydian187

Daytrading is very very risky, especially penny stocks....but alot of money can be made if you invest right. I would suggest that you invest modestly until you learn the ins and outs of trading. Also, watch and listen to more experienced traders on these boards....after odserving for a while, you will start to learn who to trust. Beware of stock hustlers who are paid to push certain stocks....these guys are scum! Also, read books on trading. Learn to read and recognize good stocks. GLTU
