It appears that anyone associated with the General and Congressman, had and probably still have a a lot of pull, not many want to mess with them. I had a problem with the VA a few years ago and my local representatives were side stepping me some. Some one gave me his name and number in Wash. to call, i was in the exact same unit as he was in Vietnam, but in a later year. (this did help some) I was told that if i gave them my information, that they would take care of it. It was taken care of very quickly.
Back to our guess. Hamburger Hill also, cannot think of anymore.
