Ya, her little "adventure" wasted a lot of peoples time and money. It's not like she just went away somewhere and everyone assumed something bad had happened. She set it up to look like abduction, and then the bogus 911 call.(aren't we taught when we're 5 years old that 911 is serious business). Send her an invoice. Restitution is part of being an adult.

Glassman's comments represent typical liberal thinking.
Liberals don't believe in accountability. They tend to reward bad behavior - letting criminals off with little or no punishnment - and punishing good behavior - making people who work hard to earn more pay a greater percentage of the income tax (5% of taxpayers pay most of the federal income tax) to support those who are lazy and dpon't work.

she committed no crime up until the time of her phone call. Leaving town without telling anyone is perfectly legal. When she told police that she was abducted- thats the crime.

She committed a criminal act, whether legal or not (laws don't always cover individual actions which unfairly hurt others), when her self-centered and irresponsibile actions cost others time and money. Not, only that, but the next person, in her same circumstances, who disappears will not receive the same searcjing effort since it may be assumed that she just ran off, and this may allow such a person to be killed, with no capture ever of her killers.

When I was 13 it was legal for me to make a bad decision and accidentally start a fire in the shed. It was a loss and had to be torn down. My dad and the neighbor rebuilt it. My dad made me work 2 months to pay our neighbor back for his time.
My actions wasted other people's time and resources, which I was responsible for.

Libertarians believe in low government interference. Conservatives believe in this for capitalism and personal freedom that does not hurt others.
Conservatives have always believed in personal responsibility, and acountability for one's actions, with reward for good behavior that contributes to the nation's welfatre, and punishment for bad behavior which parasitically drains the nation's resources for the benefit to the one committing the bad behavior. Liberals too often do the reverse.
Not punishing her rewards irresponsible behavior which cost others in time and money.
Five years in the slammer? Sounds good to me (lol). Pay the city $50,000 and another $50,000 to the feds (FBI involvemnet cost more than that) would be fair.
Doesn't matter that she was an idiot and didn't realize what she was doing - making her pay will help cure her of such idiocy.

Wow, I'm even more incoherent in the mornings than the evenings. What I meant was, hey art, those 2 have nice charts. I have a similar one on watch. I had 2 more that I was going to play and both had additional share filings.

terrorism, that never crossed my mind, but that pregnant jogger killed by her husband did. she never appeared.
I'm just sayin if that was my daughter, they better be hunting like that. If i call them and they find her clothes, some cut hair and say, remind me in 72 hours she may be enjoying herself in vegas.
This dimwit set it up to look like she was taken. If she bought the bus ticket and just left different story. obviously.
She even chose to do the perp walk, covering her head like a criminal....was that homeland securities fault.
Idiots are dealt with on a case by case basis.

Yaw'll liberals need to learn some things. I bet that woman was spoiled as a child with liberal thinking permissive parents that didn't whip her little tail when she didn't behave. That's the reason she didn't learn responsibility and why she should be made to pay all the cops that over reacted and had her boy friend all but posted out on death row already. We can make up for that permissiveness now by putting her in the jail house and making her pay. Then the next one that decides to run off without permission will think about the consequences!

It does seem that these are anxious times - young girls abducted and killed, men killing wives, highway killers shooting motorists, democrats threatening to fillibuster judicial nominations (lol), terrorist attacks in Iraq, interest rates going up and oil prices climbing.
Maybe the world is coming to an end.
Hope I live to see it happen - would love to be there when a giant asteroid takes us out.
Remember my End-of-the-World life insurance policy. For only $5 you can buy a five million dollar life insurance policy, payable if the world comes to an end.
