It is sad. I hate seeing people used as political pawns. She is so much better off now!

RIP Terry, but it's like was she the only person in the United States going thru this situation. It's like how was she singled out from some many other families who are going thru the same situation, if not worst. She wasn't famous. I don't get it.

Only reason it got the attention it did, is because FL Gov. Bush, stepped in where he shouldn't have. It just snowballed from there.

actually you cannot say beyond a shadow of a doubt that she "DIDNT have cogent thought" nor can you say that she could not feel. The human body is an enormously adaptative machine and the human brain is no exception. Although i agree that motor fuction wise she had no control and it was probably misfiring nerons aplifing the affect or some subconcious program.
Please dont take this wrong im happy that she no longer has to suffer in what was probably hell for her because if she could have "thought" and i use that in the sense of talking to yourself in your mind, then i dont see how she could have taken 15 years of pure hell of not being able to move, talk, walk or have the slightest bit of enjoyment that life had to offer. But can you ever truely know for sure what she could and could not do. If it was me in that chair and i coudlent do anything i would have wanted to just have my family pass me on to my next life becuase theres nothing more you can learn in this one other then patience.
Its cruel to think that she actual felt being starved to death. Then again she might have been happy that she was finally going to be free of her living hell. Not tring to express a political view, if i did i appologize, but i do think its rather arrogant for people to say what she could and could not do when really know one knows for sure because when it comes down to it how much do we really know about the human body and the human brain. Not a whole lot.
just a differnt perspective, nothing more nothing less.

I live in Tampa and I am glad just for all of this to end. I think she is in a much better place now and isn't hurting. I don't think the husband was evil. I think he just wanted to get on with his life. The parents just didn't want to lose their baby. I can understand, but sometimes you have to let go.

I think the husband did the right thing,After 15 years its time.Her parents are selfish keeping her alive so they can visit a shell of what was once a beautiful woman.I told my wife if that was me and there was no hope put a gun to my head right away.
