What is the difference between hiring Dr. Kyvorkian to kill you v. telling your husband that you don't want to live anymore if you get brain damaged, and he decides to get the judiciary system on his side to assist in the suicide?
Sounds to me like the Judiciary System in Florida is playing Dr. K here.
I wonder if the laywers have thought of that scenario?

Terry Schiavo is being condemned to death by a mostly Jewish justice system, which seems more determined to kill this woman as a show of power rather than do the right thing and let her live. The moral value of a nation is often shown by how it treats the most helpless. Our nation has allowed over 45 million abortions, promotes doctor-assisted suicide and is now embarking on an incredibly evil path, where courts decide whether innocent accident victims should live or die, even if their relatives offer to pay their medical bills.
The husband of Terri Schiavo is a shameless, evil wretch. He began cheating on her not long after she slipped into a coma. He was put in a charge of a large insurance settlement, which was meant to be used to rehabilitate Terri. Michael Schiavo reportedly did little more except visit the hospice, where Terri was kept, reportedly asking the nurses "Is the b---- dead yet?"
Clearly Governor Jeb Bush should have transferred custody of Terri Schiavo to her parents, who have offered to pay for Terri's care. Jeb Bush appears to be a cowardly moderate, who feels he needs to get the court's permission before doing anything. A real man of action as governor would go down to the hospital himself, have the feeding tube reattached and arrest the doctor who removed the tube charging him with attempted murder.
There is no legitimate excuse for letting Terry die unless she made a living will. Her husband is little better than Scott Peterson, a truly evil man, who doesn't deserve any relationship with any woman. His claim that Terri told him that she would want to die is completely unbelievable because of his disgraceful behavior and character.
While it's true that Terri's condition is extremely bad and there is no surgery or other procedure that can help her at present, there have been some remarkable breakthroughs in medical science and it may be possible to repair her brain damage in ten or twenty years. Terri does not require an iron lung or other expensive equipment to keep her alive.
While most people don't really see the Terri Schiavo case as much of a threat to themselves at this time, consider this: Let's say you get in a car accident and slip into a coma for eight days. This accident takes place in a state with a large number of illegal aliens who have nearly bankrupted the hospitals. The politicians and the courts have decided that the best way to make up for the cost of illegal aliens is to pull the plug on people, who are in a coma for seven days. By letting the courts get away with killing Terri Schiavo, you could be signing your own death sentence.

The state (nation) has the right to kill, or to designate/excuse killing on the part of approved others. Dr. K does not, and was not designated by the state to kill.
The nuts that want to keep to keep such disabled people alive, when the family doesn't want to for any reason, should be able to through charity donations, so those, like myself, who don't want to waste their money on maintining a useless pet, are not forced to do so.
The government is paying the bill, to the tune of nearly a million a year - and some of that is my money.
Let the parents, who are willing to care for her at home, do so, or let the nuts do so through charity.
For me I don't want to spend one cent on keeping any parasite alive, unles it is a loved one or family member of mine.

i don't see any evidence that the parents can afford to take over the financial responsibility of her care...she would CONTINUE to be a medicaid patient....the hospice is apparently NOT charging for her keep, BUT medicaid pays the medical bills...
the money appears to have been spent a long time ago...
in her last brain scan? the diagnosois was that 20% of her PHYSICAL brain is all that is left....she has no EEG activity..
and YES i think her parents should have had the right to care for her....
ONCE AGAIN, i will point to the LAWS: MADE/written/voted on by your elected m r ns er, i mean officials and say that the judges have followed them.....

Terri's parents would take her home and treat her there. Offers to help, in terms of millions, have been made by private individuals. I agree with you that this should be done in this case.
It doesn't make any difference to Terri if she lives or dies - she has no idea of what is happening, has no desires, has no goals, no memory, and has nothing to love for.
The suddenly-appearing witnesses, that said Terri vocalized, "I want to live" about 10 days ago, is ludicrous. Terri is unable to understand and formulate a complete sentence of any sort.
Any vocalizations Terri makes are reflexive habitual noises, made without any understanding of what the words mean. Such responses are on the order of a Sunflowwer turning toward the sun as it slowly moves across the sky.
Terri does not understand living versus death, and doesn't have any idea which of these two she wants now.

This sort of thing goes on everyday with NO PRESS COVERAGE. Now all of a sudden the media puts this case in the spot light and it is everywhere.
We have people who are homeless and children who can't get adopted. We also have no border protection. But leave it to Washington to focus on something that does not benefit anyone.
Have a special session of Congress for ONE PERSON who is brain dead? We have UNDER PAID TROOPS RIGHT NOW IN COMBAT! Veterans health care is eroding. The US defecit is HUGE and keeps growing!
Our government should be focusing on more important things!!
