Media Matters? Poll Shows More than 4 in 10 Still Link Saddam to 9/11

NEW YORK While the press gave extensive coverage Tuesday to Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld’s statement that he hasn't seen "any strong, hard evidence" to link Saddam Hussein and the al-Qaeda terrorists who staged the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, it became ever more apparent that the media still have their work cut out for them on this issue.
Rumsfeld's comments came as a new USA Today/CNN/Gallup Poll found that 42% of those surveyed thought the former Iraqi leader was involved in the attacks on New York City and Washington.
yeah, and he had WMD tooooo .... LOL

well, then you are part of the 51% "mandate"
we are all still Americans (in spite of all the invitiations to move to Canada), and i see divisiveness being practiced by both sides, while REAL problems conitnue to be ignored...
if i leave? i will probably go to China...at least they are honest conservatives....

i am an American, and when some buttwipe starts saying stuff like LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT? thats UnAmerican, and i really don't like to hear it..
i don't WANT to move to China...
China? if it's good enough for Wal-Mart? heck, i'd give it a shot...as a matter of fact? i don't like to shop at WalMart much, but i see what's happening between US and China thru them as POSSIBLY one of the great diplomatic success stories in world history... too bad it can't be like this in more countries...
why? because China is changing...slowly, in a controlled way and IMO? for the better... i FEEL like we are changing slowly for the worse. that is my opinion. do i blame liberals and conservatives? NO my point is that it's neither...

i enlistedunder Carter because we had hostages in IRAN, and not setting Iran back down whether they gave up the hostages was a long ago mistake...can't be undone..BUT Reagan made tha mistake NOT the liberals...

If you are liberal, then get liberals elected to:
bring down big business with regulations and other attacks, so that we have less jobs and economic slow down,
pull out of Iraq,
give up using mideast oil when Europe, Rusisan and China gets it all after Iran takes over Iraq (that we pulled out of),
cut defense spending so other countries get better military technology than the US, and are able to push us around on economic and geopolitical issues,
adopt the Kyoto treaty which allows China and other nations to pollute more while throttling our industry and energy to cripple us economically,
dump more money into education while getting even worse teaching results, while many private schools do twice as well in teaching with half the monety,
expand welfare and health care to allow parasites to thrive and reproduce, so that we increase our welfare and prison populations in the future,

not my temper, but i didn't mean to be threatening(and when i read it? i saw it could taken as threatening)..yes i changed it and you can edit within (i think ) 10 minutes and it doesn't show as an edit...( i edit all the time cuz i'm a terrible typist...but a good speller..so i proofread it.. what i meant that was people don't tend to threaten me to my face is all..and i take the "love it or leave it" as a threat...so you can maybe understand that i'm a stubborn SOB

I would love to see the alternate future of Hillary winning versus Condeleza winning.
Gotta think it would be much better for our nation as a whole for Condeleza to win. The poor would fare much beter under Hillary, but at the expense of the majority non-poor. Our economy would deteriorate more under Hillary.

Nobody would vote.Everyone would get drunk. Then go the beach to nurse they're hangovers.
Then Bill Clinton would just walk in with Monica and take over.
When people found out what had happened while they were at the beach,they would all quit their jobs...Then they would go back to the beach and I would buy another puker boat and get filthy RICH.

Hillary in '08. I've been thinking that for the past 5+ years now. I hate to say it, and it would be a horrible nightmare come true, but it is a good possibillity. It figures that she'd have to move to NY to get back into the political arena. The majority of the people up here voted for her. For cryin' out loud, they probably voted for her because they felt sorry about what slick Willy pulled on her.
