This man believes the way that I do! That there isn't any such thing as an athiest! That we are saved by grace, not works! As for the article you posted Art, this has a lot of answers from my point of view!

no Kate, i don't "feel" like i'm on a merry-go-round. ever feel tired just sittin' still? maybe this why.... depending on how far south you live in the US, you are traveling several hundered miles an hour with the rotation of the earth.....
add to that now: the earth is hurtling thru space in it's orbit around the sun.....
the sun is hurtling thru space around the supposed "black hole" at the center of the milky way....it is also "porpoising" in a very long cycle thru the milky way...
the milky way is traveling around the center of the universe, which is constantly expanding outward.........
hmmm maybe we are on more than a few "mery-go-rounds"

Kate, a while back, i tried very hard to 'splain to you what is going on, and you simply replied God sometimes sends us to war, and you quoted scripture...
i feel compelled to remind you that men were TORTURED just 500 years ago for professing their belief that the earth revolved around the sun.... the "supposed" gospel of the time was that God made the earth the center of the universe...well we aren't....
Religion obscures the simple Gospel message, by turning God's unfathomable grace gift into an offensive "good works" programs, WITH WHICH NO MAN CAN EVEN COMPLY. Consequently, a very limited number of unbelievers even attempt to comply with it, or they quickly give up trying; and they end up rejecting the God of grace, thinking that God and religion are one in the same.

the really ironic thing here? a lot of the believers blindly follow the twisted interpretations presented to them without thinking...and those that twist the WORD? i suspect they will get "special" treatment and i don't mean Macdonalds this time....
