it wouldn't surprise me if they did lie some...
what i like about the Sheild is that it's REAL fiction.....
i mean, we do want our cops to be the biggest dog on the street....and if you let your neighborhoods get as bad as they are in that part of LA you need a cop that bad...
i mean who really wants to get their hands that dirty every day for so little money, unless they love what they do?

i actually liked kerick, & i think its a cryin shame they demolished a man who cracked down on nyc crime hard then went and instituted law enforcement structure in Iraq before there were trained officers to protect him. he was the most informed person for the job, and he performed in his job. nobody questions that. not sure i care what he did when it wasnt my tax dollars at work.

thanx BB, i'll try to keep them coming.... it's a lot more fun when we aren't all arguing
anyway, i think this has more to do with everybody from the media to the senate, and the house being afraid that Bush will start throwing too much weight around....so i expect to see quite a bit of this type of thing....
something else to think about:the Homeland Security and National Intel/Security posts both represent possible threats to the power of the prez....think of J. Edgar Hoover and double the power... so the whitehouse would want people they can rein in.....that means they need dirt on them for leverage....it's all a struggle......
