No he is still in a coma on life support.Just pull the plug,never understood life support when you are that old and that sick.Myself i already have legal papers,not to put me on that.

I think he is probably either already dead or "brain" dead. The doctors have no other logical reason for saying he is not going to make it when they deny being able to diagnose his illness. One day they say he is improving, the next day he is on "life support"? Nurses see this a lot..people getting better...you think they are recovering...the next day they are gone. But most of these people have a terminal condition like cancer. He probably had pancreatic cancer which would explain why they reported that he had an endoscope. An endoscope does not show gallstones...but it would be visible if a mass were present around the common duct or the pancreas. Pancreatic cancer is a very progressive form of cancer in most cases. I feel he is already gone and they are trying to keep the Palestinian people from rioting...and possibly avoid a power struggle since Arafat did not leave a successor...IMHO

Maybe, but most lab tests, even common ones, can pick that up if you are looking for a poison. Could be some type of toxin they aren't looking for.
That would also mean one of his own people was responsible for doing it.

The only usefullness Arafat serves is to some what keep the Palestinians under control, but he can't even do that most of the time. This is going to sound cruel, but I won't miss him after he's gone.

I don't think so, but there are conflicting reports. I know Israel has there troops on the highest alert just waiting for it to be official.

Arafat has been supported by many nations, including US aid. He diverted much of this to his personal bank accounts.
