If Bush wins the Dems will blame the spin the Republicans put on the tape and if Kerry wins the Republicans will blame Osama for putting fear in the American people. So in my opinion it doesn't change much. If your for Kerry it reinforces his point that Bush did not get Bin Laden when he could of. For Bush I guess he can spin it and say Osama is trying to manipulate the election! The race is still a dead heat. So unlike Spain (which was a major upset) whoever is elected will not be a suprise.

You can not spin this tape. The only point behind it is to influence the election. He says he is for freedome now? Why is that, because the people of afganistan are actually moving forward now. He says Bush and kerry are equal, then continues to attack Bush, there is only one legitimate way to interpret this tape. The only point this tape tries to make is for him to try and get kerry into office, so the problem can be ignored some more, at the very least allow them some room to move. If that would happen I do not know, but it is obvious that his play on our fears is to sway the election. If you have someone who is on the run saying that he wants Bush out of office, should be listened to? That in itself must send the message that the Bush camp is effective.

You know what just aggrevated me the most, the fact that I just responded to that video. I stand by what I said, but I still can not believe that this lunatic actually might accomplish what he wants.

FO, this is ridiculous....

Bush did do one thing osam didn't expect/want..he managed to convince US not to burn every mosque in america on 912

i can't believe anybody is foolish enough to think osam cares who is prez....LOL

Bush has given osam hours of pleasure as we create one recruiting moment after another in Iraq....

and the fact that he is still around to make this tape shows Bush FAILED...

Iraq is NOT where this tape was made....

Glass, your insane, this was just an accident 4 days before the election.....

he has a history of attacks before elections!

THINK!

do you really believe osama wanted more u.s. servicement in all the muslim countries???? cuz thats what happened.

Heres the headline: Bin Laden Condemns Bush, Says New Attacks Possible

he also discusses how bush continued to read as the towers were hit, hmmm... isn't that a democratic joke.....

Keith i KNOW it is probably a message to trigger an attack...and if it works should we still think Bush has done a good job??????????????????
i do get it....shall i dig up the old quotes again??? he isn't gonna influence MY vote....

psy-ops.....maybe it is an attack order, maybe it isn't...we will have to sweat it out won't we...

he's a TERRORIST this is what they do, they create fear.....

osam has been getting by just fine with Bush in office why should he care???? Kerry isn't gonna cut and run, and as a REPUBLICAN i HATE that Bush and Cheney have said anything like that...it really is unpatriotic...

osam is laughing right now(i think i've said that before) yes i did

i don't know if we have more serviceman in ALL the muslim countries...
Afghanistan being taken, osam had to expect(i don't think the taliban expected it prior to 911 tho).....
osam had to expect a BIG response after 911 why does everybody seem to think he's dumb??????

and you can't deny that Iraq has mobilised thousands if not hundreds of thousands of new Islamics against us...

guerrilla warfare isn't about body counts and land taken.....
it's about mind control.
if we vote Bush in as a result of 911, we are already being influenced by osam, cuz Bush was considered a mid-performing prez PRIOR to 911......afterwards his numbers reached as high as 90% aproval
his WHOLE campaign has been about how well he handled 911 and the war on terror

osam doesn't appear to be in a cave hiding, but it's hard to tell

I can't understand why you continue to blame one man, for everything, when the senate and congress, continue to battle over things, and prevent the President from doing a lot of the things he tries to do, (including John Kerry)? That there are a lot of corrupt people, who have their own agendas, that prevent the right things from getting done! That is like blaming a Pastor, who is the head of the church, and who has a huge congregation to visit when they are sick, or injured or hurting, and blaming him, when one dies without him, because he was visiting another sick person? The President doesn't have eyes in the back of his head, like your poor mother had to do, Glass! It is like everyone sitting on their butts, complaining about who is President, when they either don't vote, or they don't go out to help promote the one that they want! All they want to do, is sit and read gossip, and complain, instead of going out and making things better! Hmmmmm? I have personally done missionary work, and it wasn't because of the President, let me tell you!

i'm not blaming one man Kate....
i'm blaming the admin, but i only get to vote for the one man...
it's not personal...
it's about the future of our children...
Bush has a GOP HOUSE and Senate...they don't like him much either, but he's their party....

It wouldn't surprise me if the tape was designed to sway voters back to the side of Bush....in a reverse psychology kind of way. Bush is Osamas enemy. He notes how Bush has mislead American people. I'm sure though that Osama is smart enough to know that most US polls show that Bush would be better at security and terrorism...therefore maybe this tape was designed to scare Americans into keeping Bush in office????
Thoughts on this...and please leave "you're crazy" out of it...thanks..

I know, I really believe there is manipulation going on in the oil market and maybe in the currencies. I know for a fact that our "burgeoning" deficit WILL continue to hurt the stock market as well.

I like the way Osama offered a deal with Europe "If you sit back and allow muslims to take over your countries we will not harm you in the process". These people have invaded every country from Russia to England to The U.S. and Canada. It is time we stand up and do something drastic. Muslims in Canada have determined that Islamic law outweighs any Canadian law soon they will make these claims throughout Europe and the U.S. Can you imagine the hay day the ACLU will have representing Muslims here well we already saw the begining with the drivers license ordeal. We need to stop letting these people in now and get rid of the ones that are here.

sarge, you are correct...we do need to do something, but it's not a shooting war....

how about offering any women from countries where they are oppressed free college tuition in USA....(most of the mid-east)...or even political asylum

and refuse ALL student visas to men from those countries?
we and england TRAINED the Paki's that sold the nuke plans to iran and N korea..DUMB..

that would be crippling to them, and it would be peaceful....

then kick out ALL the illegals...EVERY SINGLE ONE, and make it a serious OFFENSE to hire one.....

I don't know about the college tuition you know that would be abused our colleges would be full to the brim with women from third world countries claiming political asylum. Keep in mind this would be on your tax dollar also.

i know, but i have seen quite a few foreign women become americanised at universites....
it works....
yes, it will bring on issues of it's own, but i am a strong believer that almost all of education benefits society as whole...
there are instances where it's bad, like like the nuke programs, but it would put a serious hurting on them, economically. reproductively, and faith-wise..cuz Islamic funadamentalists see women as property...
i am not a pacifist, but i do believe in fighting smart..
the women would raise their children differently no matter where they end up here, or back there..

Hence to fight and conquer in all your battles
is not supreme excellence; supreme excellence consists
in breaking the enemy's resistance without fighting.
